After many explosions Lingxi finally manufactured pills that is suppose to heal Jiuchen's cold illness.Lingxi eating the medication she made and jumping into the full moon spring to test the effectiveness will really pull at peoples heart strings.

Jiuchen is under house arrest for burning the war report and the heavens has declared a silent war on him because of it Lingxi being the daughter of the former Medicine King decides to make medication for Jiuchen. Can't help laughing as Jiuchen does not seem to mind that Lingxi is blowing up his palace. Got to love a steadfast man.

Back at Fuyun Hall and the God of War is all shy around Lingxi. Jiuchen always looked after himself & fended off trouble alone so to have a lowly fairy try to protect a supreme god is refreshing. Lingxi is starting to show that she stands for what is right that her principals are steadfast and this is affecting Jiuchen's caution of her.

Typical chinese modesty, Lingxi trying to revive Jiuchen from an attack of cold illness resulting in her fainting and sleeping on his bed. She is honest which causes gossip to spread like wild fire. Enjoy the series injected reality as women are natural gossips.

Love how this drama has sprinkling of humor from Lingxi finally getting some freedom to her father physician Le Bo with the squeaky voice, fast talker but small stature. More explanations on what happened to bring the characters to the present time.

I really enjoy that the relationship between Jiuchen and Lingxi is slow but steady means this will develop into a very deep love.In the beginning of the episode, Lingxi is so caring of Jiuchen cold illness although he is still unsure if Lingxi is evil but i think in he is starting to soften a little and is not the fierce and loner general that he was before sleeping for 50000 years. The ending of this episode in the grand hall when Lingxi tried to stop the heart piercing needle did it for me, Lingxi is fearless and only wants to protect Jiuchen from harm and later slander from the yuan family.

From the beginning the series started the introduction on the right note. Informing the viewers who was who and although still too early to mention the admiration of Lingxi for Jiuchen is evident as she was not pleased to hear the God of War position begin taken over by Lord of Heavenly Thunder. Loving the drunk physician Le Bo character as Lingxi father.
