romance is not the main genre here anyway, so I suggest giving it a shot and then you'll see...
Maybe lets see many dramas don't have the romance tag but end up having some romance but who knows maybe this young man was friends with his dead son or something related to him it is just this part I think I read it in The Glory Synopsis somewhat as well:

It is a trend in MDL for a couple of years, it was supposed about the fans of that specific show to share views, actors etc. I usually if I dont like or click with a show I stop and go on to the next one, I don't leave essays about why I dont like it, there is people that like it, in this case I did give my opnion tec they are mentioning only those 2 shows....bu everybody likes drama for a reason you dont have to like a drama that you feel overrated bec something is wrong with you but maybe the acotrs, plot, etc. doesn't hook you or viceversa.......

No one is dragging the other shown down, people expressed what they are feeling about both dramas in questions in this article.... And I do know to each its own...it doesn't mean someone is hating we are just expressing how we feel about the two drams...sorry if it burned you....

Sorry I forget there are fans of the drama in here, I dropped it at ep 4 and that's a stretch for me I usually just watch 1 or 2 episodes and I know where I like it or not, with MD I didn't so I moved on after ep 4. And hyped dramas not necessarily are meant to everyone Im in thought I was in the minority but since the person who wrote this article, didn't specified MD ratings in Korea and just today's episode with Park's it went up to almost 10% was the highest compared to both netflix weennds....
I suggest you wait for the official trailers and teasers to judge the plot, the cast includes a very respected…

Im all for noona romances 10-15 max but if they have a love line I don't think I will be able to get into, she is almost my age she is 52 y/o Im 47 y/o and CEW is 26 y/o same age as my son.....I cant with ages similar to me and my older son....she is 26 years older than him.....sorry even if it is the reverse male older and girl that age I can't get into that wagon...sorry Ill have to skip this one...

that's all they do serving visual, the story lacks acting lacks so you can't really get immerse in their characters I couldn't connect with neither because they really were serving the visuals over the plot/acting.

Well Park's that's the point their supposed to be total opposites but at least I feel for Se Young's character specially on ep 5 is going up, My Demon live viewership in Korea is going down.

Exactly live ratings are sinking obviously in Netflix Global is topping because Song Kang but in Korea is doing poorly compared to Park's and I can even compared one makes me care about the story and characters the other all I see is visuals.

lol which is serious drama, Park's they both targetting same audience......but the delivery in acting and plot wise is way better, one thing is for sure one chew the other one to the bone if Park's is supposed to be serious or Demon I don't think either, they both supposed to be a blending of genres....MD is not catching the audience as it was "supposed to" IMO
