Every country puts out good and bad. No need to compare.
I know I just explained above I was a huge super fan of all those american dramas, I wasn't born here but came in my early 20's so I was one of those fans that I would check any event or anything to meet the actors I would go to red carpets etc. but I got a major let down with cancellation and back in 2013 when I started watching kdramas mainly and then expanded to other asian content now is all I watch, I do go to the movies if something really appeals to me or my kids asked me to go, but thats it. By the way now that Im a super fa of Asian dramas, I got to meet Song Joong Ki, Rain, Im Si Wan the guy from Squid Games I forget his name and Im getting ready to go to the International Emmy Awards in NY this year there are 2 kdramas nominated and the chances of korean actors coming so I can't wait for it. Lol Iast year I even took a picture with the dude from New Amsterdam I forgot his name, wasn;t as relevant to me than the Korean actors was super funny the kactors were like talking to us and asking us in Aweee do you guys know me? All of them asking, they don't know the amount of fans they have internationally.

OH no no no, I stop watching all those back in 2015 I think the last one I watched was Beauty and the Beast I always been a core Western dramas fan all my life to the point of meeting the actual actors of those dramas, I watched all of those dramas slow burn romance Im a sucker for them, 90's and 2010's from Beverly Hills 90210, Felicity, Roswell, Vampire Diaries, Buffy. Charmed, Smallville, Alias, Lucifer, Gossip Girl and last one was BATB met most of the actors when in NY that's how of a fan I was but the eminent cancelation ghosting around turned me down and stop watching western dramas religiously and switched to Kdramas in 2013 or 2015 for good since even short episodes have a beginning and an ending. Fantasy I will agree back in the day western was ahead now with all the fantasy western vs all over the world including Korea are stepping up a lot. Just an example, with Moving Disney+ original, I was most invested in those 20 eps than I was in the entirely Marvel Universe saga.
I like historical cdramas the most but historical / fantasy kdramas are stepping up their game, AOS and My Dearest…
I know it was hard at the beginning for me bec i started historical with cdramas but as some of my fave kactors were doing historical I pick the first episode if I was drawn into the plot Id stay I also pass on many others even if they have my most fave actor, also Under the Queen Umbrella was a good one all those this year grabbed my attention....and My Dearest above all for this year I really really like it, and I hope this one won't disappoint the director and cast is solid, the writer I don't know much of her work.....but will see!
ps: thanks, I love Destined with you...and its about to end ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Did I read this right? Has anyone read the novel that can confirm this?Jo Bo Ah will play the role of Jae Yi,…
Relax, I haven't read the novel, but what Ive read they are not blood related, or half siblings parents married they have different set of parents or she was adopted something like that and also brother got lost when he was little and fake one returned years later so before and after no blood related siblings or grew up together......
It does give me serious FNOS war flashbacks tho :D (but maybe closer to See You In My 19th Life, curse and all)
Aww you changed your profile pic I did too, lol I know we have watched similar dramas before right? if Im not mistaken you were stuck in FNOST for awhile, I moved on with AOS and then with this one, I love rom-coms mix with supernatural stuff, mix of genres. And yes Ive read a lot about that Shin-Yu chaotic personality and kindness is as if RoWoon effortlessly being him so yes, I know how Jo bo Ah is super nice too and chaotic lol irl so I bet they hit it on while doing this drama as she did with Lee Dong Wook and Kim Boom in TOTNT . That Octopus 1000 got me rolling over by myself lol there were so many good ones in ep 12 but the Curse is killing me.

From Now On Show Time is with Park Hae Jin and Jin Ki Joo, it is a hidden gem I loved it had everything, when a drama got me by the end of the 1st episode Im hooked and it has mix of genres like this.....such a beautiful rom-com from last year......very similar to this! https://mydramalist.com/699445-showtime-from-now-on

And Ive noticed after Moving Disney+ Hulu is getting the good dramas now Im stuck with The Worst of Evil lol and same as prime video they getting in the kdrama wagon they all investing in original content for their streams only which Im ok with as long as they don't touch the kdrama industry as they way we love it.
I think they need to give a story to Ki Chul, since IMO he is not completely evil w/o remorse, like when his bestie…
well probably is not for you, I took a peak but I actually stayed because it is some kind of the departed with all kdrama gangster tropes + the FL linked to both MLs so Ill stay to see how it evolves, but if doesn't catch your attention it won't ever that's how dramaland is.

Yes, I have mentioned before it is a cross over between FNOS and SYIM19thL lol I liked FNOS a lot but I think I love this one the MC they are so natural....that clingy octopus she did today was hilarious all the things I feel cringy in other dramas I see them doing them and I se them cute. LOL
I think the first 3 eps were good & the cliffhanger was definitely giving...but😂😂...do Korean writers really…
Ive watched the interview with the crew behind the drama, they wanted to inspired the drama based on Hong Kong movies of the 90's and if you watch some of those movies there is a lot of smoke and gore, since the drama is not based in anything they can create the world they want and use elements from different countries same era, and Im ok with it this is not a historical/real life events drama it is a make believe and I loved the atmosphere they created they are all raw no dolled up actors like regular Korean dramas.
Spending most of episode 1 on Ki Chul was a choice... honestly skipped a bit in the latter half.
I think they need to give a story to Ki Chul, since IMO he is not completely evil w/o remorse, like when his bestie die, or his connection to FL who he met before him becoming the gangster he is, I think it was necessary and we might find out more about Jinmu and wife as well.
Lol chillax, Im Li Qin fan seen most of her dramas, In my case, I called her lucky because I know she is being…
oh so i guess living in the USA and paying for Iqiyi, Netflix, Hulu, Viki and any other Asian platform doesn't matter specially Chinese ones. I thought I was been supportive of the content and actors I like. I guess I was being a fool.
i don't care about the thriller, the other plots I only care about how cute and chaotic this couple journey has been since episode 1 to 12 so far like I lol by myself watching them flirt and I cant wait for their happy ending!
ps: thanks, I love Destined with you...and its about to end ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
