No I think they explained who the mother was of the CP actually the one prior was his brother mom and dad....the monkey hand you refer as the cray cray guy now paired Ga Ram, they explained he is a noble son of one of the king's ministers, but I think he is pretending to be that in order to follow his dream of being a doctor instead of being involved with the politics of the palace like his dad....

from what ive read the people that read the book while the CP helps her clean her name and find out about who is sending those letters they will help each other but she is some kind of sherlock holmes joseon era, so from some 5 mins preview I saw on YT it seems CP will also pair up with cray cray Myung Jin and Garam, so Im guessing they will try to solve the main plots while solving sub plots.....

Ok I know in the book they def didn't end up together....but what the freaking frog was that ending? i know after 16 eps of push and pull it wasn't going to be lovey dovey ending, and there were hints of commitment in that actual date but they were or not or open ending.....
