Exactly i think that's when his upbringing of doing great things will put him to challenge Uk who was thought he wouldn't do anything amazing, so I wonder if they will keep been friends and protect each other. On the other hand I think he does realize Naksu no longer has feelings for him or ever had since he never confessed with all going on now it is just a puzzle of possibilites, MD becoming JBY or given up for naksu to stay, Naksu going to her original body (still think her body was never burned it could have been a magic trick) who knows....? I don't know where they gonna take us with this body shifting. bu Yeon, Noksu, ice stone thing....

ok today episode we found out the real OTP is GoJang lol, also I never thought the Yul's character was unnecessary I actually think he is that bridge to help or break Naksu and Uk, anyways today episode we saw more of his abilities in the use of Songrim and for those saying that Yul character is for what? I would only tell you all characters in the drama have a reason to be.
Ugh there is so much going on tbh and it drives me crazy thinking in how they will wrap up part 1 with the tons of possibilities......

Im actually enjoyed the 9 first episodes not the best but a nice binge watch now waiting for the next 4 episodes

Seo yul as a character and i cant call him a triangle because he puts boundaries he knows she is Naksu calls her Naksu but he loves the Naksu from the past not in MD body tho also we dont know the purpose of many charactes, they are all there to make a story and we don't know what part 2 will bring

i think her character is phasing out as Naksu and JBY might emerge soon, and she (Naksu soul) will have to drift apart from that body eventually

Well I still think JB is in a dream like state and gets awake every now and then when she slept walk and when she help him not soul shifting....I just think MD (Naksu) frustration about Uk laziness was more about her final achievement of getting close to ice stone and him get all the 5 whatever mage techniques so he can became the most powerful mage and help her stay in MD body and regain her powers.....but the twist will be if BY wakes up tho....

By not getting petrified, or keep living Im guessing regaining her powers is in the list, because the reason Uk got into Sogrim was to get to the palace and ice stone so she doesn't get petrified since they don't know whose real body she is in. Im just thinking her reaction at Uk lazy around and not getting ahead in training was bec of their ultimate goal will not do by wishy washy Uk behavior.

ps: Im not saying they get side track by the romance part but they do have an ultimate goal

We already know how bipolar Uk is tho...and how wishy washy his personality is, at this point he gets too emotional unlike Yul.

I have so many fave characters but i think he is my top one
