Finally completed it. Loved it! I will miss watching their journey. All the rescue scenes were very well done. Good finale episode as well. :D

True. But we don't know what the procedures are like in China. Normally if a woman claims rape, her fingernails will be collected as part of evidence along with a rape kit being done. Injuries on both would be photographed and documented. But they were solely relying on his testimony in the drama. It was very odd.

They didn't reveal it in episodes 37 and 38. I've watched with subs. Maybe they'll elaborate today.

They haven't revealed in ep 37 and 38 what she said to the cops. Unless they do that in ep 39 and 40. But I suppose you're right and it would be related to his physical examination. Or else even the uncle or whoever that man was would also be arrested for false claims of assault.
