I am genuinely enjoying Alchemy of Souls. I don't think we need to worry about the rating. Not everyone watching the show is on MDL. As the show goes on, more people will hear about it and consider watching it. I had given it a preliminary rating of 8 after the 1st episode and increased it to 9 after the 2nd. I enjoyed the 3rd as well. Good comedic elements even if the CGI wasn't as much as the 2nd. Once the show completes and the reviews are posted, people will have a better picture of the series in order to decide if it's worth watching or not. And those who have an issue with something with the show, it defeats your purpose if you insult people/religion/ethnicity. If anything, less people will want to watch cdramas because of it. You are hurting your own cause.

Muslims irrespective of race use Arabic names. This is not called stealing. It is tradition to use names with good meaning even if it is not in Arabic. Even Christians and other non-Muslims tend to use Muslim/Arabic names in other cultures. Muslims default to Arabic because it is the language of the Quran.

Does anyone remember the instrument mentioned in episode 2 and 3? What is it called?

Didn't quite understand the plot but if it's a female performing action sequences, I will watch. It's been a while since we had a character like that.

Is there a better explaination of the plot? Genre/tag wise im interested.

I don't mind fight scenes and some kinds of violence but I have a hard time with gore/torture/sexual violence, etc. If they don't show the process then I guess I can continue. Thank you for responding!

Hi. No, the plot summary sounded the same so I thought it might be a remake. I did watch it because I was told the story is different.

Final episode today. So far this show has been excellent. I hope they tie up all the loose ends. And the mystery involving the reaper is solved.

Is there any similarity of this show to the US series, Russian Doll? I'm thinking of watching it unless it's the exact same script.
