Not bad and action packed. Expect what you expect from a political drama. Also loved the cameos. At one point it felt like if you blink, you'll miss a cameo from an A list actor.
Hmmm It started strong with a new concept but failed delivering it to the end.
This is just my personal opinion. The leads had absolutely no chemistry. They didn't even have enough screen time together to build a relationship. In fact the 2ML had more screen time with FL than ML. I don't even know when ML fell in love with FL. Also the opening scene in final ep was ridiculous. He was not even in a condition to support a fainted FL.
Other than the romance story other things were good. Loved the however gang even though things took a turn towards the end. The drama started as a Youth drama and ended up being a political one. But the execution of that change was a bit weird.
What really impressed me was the cast. Aside from JiHoon, most of the main actors are relatively unknown to the world. For many of them, this was either their first major role or their biggest role so far in a drama. But they absolutely nailed it! Dr. Anus, Nurse Cheon, Dr. Park they all gave their best performances, making the drama incredibly addictive and fun to watch.
It's only the first ep Did we get a shout-out for Ahn Jeong Won from Paediatrics? What! I miss hospital playlist. Also it's the same hospital as Yulje 🥺
The leads aren't chemistrying at all here. The leads finally got together, but it didn't even create a spark. Something is missing between them. The only interesting thing was the elementary room gang. But at ep 12 they are broken into pieces.
My final verdict is Sungkyunkwan Scandal is miles better than this despite being a 2010 drama.
