I get what people say when they write this is "extremely realistic"...it is compared to, you know, faking to be a guy in Joseon??! However I HOPE real life is not like this for ANY of you! Basically all the main characters have mental/behavioural issues (except Seol), and that's what makes this webtoon/drama different and interesting, since it's kind of a taboo topic and thus hardly portrayed in dramas with all it's darkness and without artificial sweeteners. For that only I think CITH is pretty interesting. However the drama went DOWNHILL after it started detaching from the webtoon. I think that's because the webtoon writer has this ability to create situations where all this problematic personality traits are portrayed but in a very controversial and complex way. You never know exactly what's good or wrong since you have this many fragmented views on the same fact. The drama took this and created a super simple and just so un-focused story that it all felt...terrible. I recommend to first read the webtoon and then start the drama. I think the drama writters never understood the webtoon characters and never knew what to do with them. And voilá, that's the drama.

Sometimes for me it was a little dragging, but this is one of those few, few dramas where the main couple develop a supportive, mature relationship I can relate to and enjoy to watch. They grow together and through each other. And that's marvelous.

Terrible. I know this type of drama normally deals with the hierarchy between MIL-DIL and all the social norms, morals, etc. around family and korean society. So I kind of knew what I was going for. But the abuse of the MIL in this one is really hard to watch. Well, for me at least!

Pretentious. Behind those classical music parts and sexualized-and-almost-nothing-more passion a lack of character development ramps. The elegant execution may be charming at first, I will admit to that.
