22: I’m sorry her son was severely injured when he was trying to save An Yu,, but she’s wrong to blame An Yu who also was a victim. I can understand why she would be resentful, but An Yu doesn’t deserve to be attacked like that. This series has been an unexpected surprise. I really am enjoying it.
Im so curious to find out what happened to make Pei Zhi avoid her, when he was the one who gave her the picture to try to meet in the first place. Absolutely hard core hooked.
I think that K-Drama writers get joy out of F'N with peoples anxiety. This show is a prime example.
I feel the same way about the Chinese series The Story of Xing Fu. Though not murder, there were blatant serious injustices and crimes that went unchecked for 39 EPISODES, to be simply resolved with good will in epi #40- the LAST one. The only unexpected occurrence in this series was using the truck of doom on the innocent child. I expected Yoon Sang or Gong Chang to bo the ones sacrificed.
if that is your reason for dropping it, it was clear since ep 1 that Gyeyoung had a bad outcome since he felt…
You are right, and that I understood. I think it’s partly due the way it’s written. It feels like a cut, made bigger and bigger, esp after I saw a number of clips for epi 14. Couple that with very unexpected events in other series was a bit much for my heart.
Epi 35: I give credit where due; the acting is consistently top tier. Excellent. Story wise, solid. That said, it’s at epi 35 and the injustices continue to pile up, and are becoming overwhelming. I’ve kept watching, expecting there to be at least a little merited consequence . Still waiting. Writernim ( I know- wrong language) please do not make the lesson that justice never wins, does not exist. Please.
Virtually everyone I know in a discord group that were watching have been dropping it since epi 7. I’m one of two that held out. Talk about taking one for the team! 😆
This series has been an unexpected surprise. I really am enjoying it.
