This usually happens because people think that his reason for not wanting to help Khen is not strong enough.

People need to realize this series is based off a book with many characters and a lot of aspects beside just romance.…
And who said that the problem with this series is that there isn't enough romance? It's just boring. I like the K-dramas Weak Hero and Study Group, and neither of them has any romance.

Nope. This is a wuxia drama with straight romance as side stories. The ML has 2nd FL as his love interest. It…
You are writing a lot of nonsense to defend homophobia. I follow this subject closely, and I know that the BL series is a huge success in China, so much so that The Untamed, based on the novel Mo Dao Zu Shi, is one of the most watched CDramas, if not the most watched. What is the government protecting people from? Anyone with even minimal intelligence knows that no one becomes straight or gay; at most, a person can be bisexual or asexual.

People like you, who treat companies, actors, or ships like some kind of football team, are the reason why actors don’t even bother to improve their performances, and the scripts never get better. My favorite series is Game of Thrones rest assured, Khemjira’s popularity won’t interfere in the slightest with my all-time favorite.

And I'll say more: FirstOne has personality, because he's a supporting character.Wait, once he gets his own BL, he'll play the same role as the damsel in distress.

That's what I said in a comment below the couples from DMD all seem to follow the same stereotype: one strong man and the other who always has to be saved, always playing the same role of the fragile guy who needs rescuing. Just look at Nunnew, Kong, Nat, and now this Namping. Someone told me it's the actors who choose this, but what I said is undeniable it's always one strong man and one to be saved. And most of these women who write these novels don’t really understand the dynamics of real homosexual couples. These stories feel like the ones written by heterosexual romance authors in the 1960s, for a 1960s audience. (I'm not talking about historical romance like Bridgerton.) Books written in the 60s for a 60s audience were usually about fragile women who needed saving and men who were 20 years older.
