I think the problem with DMD is that they choose couples based on a stereotype you can notice that Nunew, kong,Nat, and Namping all play the same type of fragile character.

The romance is boring, but I've never liked this couple either, what's saving them are the supporting actors.

One of the problems I see in BLs is that they are very focused on the main characters. They could give more space to the secondary characters, like in TV series. I find the romance part the most boring.

I have no doubt that the majority of BL fans are alienated heterosexual women who only care about handsome men and don't know anything about politics or human rights.

They make this kind of BL because the BL audience doesn’t criticize and just consumes anything. Yesterday I was shocked at how alienated people are. Director Golf, who directed MilkLove’s last GL, was caught making sexual comments about the actresses on Facebook. And what were the fans of these actresses doing? Trending hashtags on Twitter about the 10 million views of the last episode. I’m honestly impressed at how alienated people can be they should’ve been trending a hashtag demanding that guy’s dismissal instead.

I agree and this seems to be a big problem in DMD, Nunew is always this type of character... I'm not an expert in BL, I don't remember what uke or seme or sene is, but they have a habit of putting this stereotype of the boring woman in hetero romances who is always saved by the man.
