I sure didn't expect FL's drunk scene in that restaurant LOL LOLLLLLL!!!!!!! It gave me a good laugh, esp. as…
as a child I lived in a small town. Many of my relatives were prominent in the community. Eyes were on me all the time so when I got home or saw relatives they would say "a little bird told me that..." everything I did was known. I was only 6 but I wanted to kill that effing bird. It was horrible and my mom made my dad move the family to the west coast to get away from all the gossip. So I get it.
Now that I have more time to think about today's ep, I begin to see how ML is more important to FL than I initially…
I agree with the analysis, but at the same time, telling someone that they should not have lost weight really hits a nerve. She is on the verge of really destructive behavior, and I am not on board with that in spite of her feelings, as the ML goes through so much pain, only to have her stir it up again. They both have terrific 2nd leads, and it would be great if this drama was the right way to show how to move on from a first love. She is right to not to move back, it is wrong to want him so that he would have to leave what he has built for himself if it games out that way.
Ugh. I do not like FL character. I get the pain and trauma she endured in that small town but her stalking the 2nd FL was also predictable and uncomfortable. I disliked What Comes After Love for the same thing
Not a fan of ML waiting for FL, then gets rejected, told to move on, yet if she sees him with another person, she seemed jelous. Vibes of What Comes After Love where 2nd ML got jilted. I'm watching, but I am not warming up to FL character (who I adore as an actress) We shall see how this develops.
I am having difficulty with figuring out who allowed the trainees to go to the nightclub with the "investors", because if current management at that time allowed it, they should be held accountable. Even if FL was in US at the time, is she not responsible for protecting her trainees? I would be angry too if that happened to a family member. This gives me pause and makes me reluctant to warm up to the FL. These companies have so much control over trainees - overseeing practice, what to eat, living quarters - this is a glaring hole in responsibilities to protect their talent.
Very sweet episode, which really moved this drama forward in a pleasing way. Glad they are beginning to soften up the FL, and hopeful for a possible relationship for 2ndFL as I really like her.
I like this drama in general, but the final scene is problematic. If it is not cool for a man to kiss a drunk woman, the reverse is problematic too. Especailly any dynamic - in the office - where one is dependent on the other for thier job. I am sure this will be ironed out in the drama, but having worked for a fortune 500 company, this would be a huge no-no. This does not "cancel" the drama for me, I anjoy the drama series, just posting my thoughts on the one scene.
I am enjoying this. I think soon we shift into the "Gossip" portion of the drama title. There was tension, comraderie, side plots of greed, resistance and all sorts going on. Each episode has a lot going on and they use every minute. Sorry others judge it so harshly, but I am enjoying it so far. Special effects are well done too.
Kind of screwball humor in the mode of Everything Everywhere all at once or a Fish Called Wanda. The extreme measures a chaebol goes through to preserve his bloodline - loved the contempt toward the "space tourist" until he proves his value. This is fun, nice and different.
highly underated. The story keeps getting better. I feel sorry for those who dropped it too soon. I also sense there will be 2 couples out of our bottom floor 4. This drama is progressing quickly - hard to believe that next week we will be halfway through!
That was fun. I was laughing when they kept yelling apologize. The ending words are apt talking about how the burden falls upon those without power to fight injustice by those with power
i'm gradually liking the husband's character, but i haven't found the reason yet 🤷🏻♀️
My take - I like him because he has been trying to wake up his wife to be more present with her kid instead of only her career. And to deal with her guilt - which is why she is trying to buy a factory that the kid doesn't even want. She will have to learn to listen and work with others for solutions...
