(Apparently, the ones in charge of this drama are the same as for Meet You at the Blossom so hoping for the best)

Because Fan Xiao do insane things to him so people feel bad for You Shulang (even tho You Shulang is REALLY strong mentally, this pairing is literally strong x strong but Fan Xiao is crazy :))) top1 manipulator for real.

OMG then you are going to LOVE this drama (if they do it right). You should read the novel if you want to, the translation is at ch35 (there is 119 chapters) at the moment. Fan Xiao is really insane LIKE INSANE and I felt bad for You Shulang but what is really interesting to me is how You Shulang is strong mentally besides everything Fan Xiao did to him (literally, no one can handle Fan Xiao except if you are strong enough mentally). The wife chasing is really good too !! I do have low expectations for the drama tho because I don't know how they will adapt the story, if they toned down Fan Xiao a bit or not and at the moment I don't feel like the actors can protray Fan Xiao and You Shulang BUT I guess I'll find out soon enough. For me the novel will obviously always be the best since it's the original😭but I'll definitely check it out hehe

Read the trigger warnings before reading the novel (I saw the fantler added some trigger warnings) because the novel is quite heavy HAHA

They do end up together even tho when you read the novel, you have doubts about a HE for them because with EVERYTHING Fan Xiao has done to You Shulang 😭😭 It's definitely not a neutral ending they do end up together in the end but like at the very end. Be prepared for pain :)))) and to hate Fan Xiao with all your heart too :))))

It's not a bad ending but the journey is..TORTUROUS.

Yes it's really dark so it's not for everyone but the read is so worth it ! For the drama at first I was not really looking forward to it but after seeing the trailer and some scenes I'm looking forward to it ! I'm curious to see how they adapted the story because the insanity of Fan Xiao is truly SOMETHING

Read the novel and listened to the audio drama... I don't know HOW the drama will adapt the story but ALRIGHT. I don't know if Fan Xiao will truly be entirely like in the original novel but we'll see haha. I saw some scenes in the trailer and omggg it seems just like in the novel so I have hope. I'd like to say that this story is not for the weak 😭 I don't know how much the drama will include but it's definitely not for everyone. But You Shulang <33😭😭
