as someone who is not really here for the romance - I enjoy the hell out of that drama. It gives us so many complex characters like XFF, Shen Yurong, RuoYao, Ji Shuran... Not one episode or scene made me ever lose interest.

His character is hard to analyze about what is going on in his mind. But I would really like to know the story about how he got close to the princess in the first place.

Shen Yurong is one of my favorite characters in this Drama, because of his complexity. I was rewatching the scene in episode 1, where he reports to the princess that he "killed" his wife, and I'm in awe of the actors portrayal in those scenes. The Agony. The Guilt. The Helplessness.

then til the end of the moon didn't follow these rules either. almost every episode of these 40 had over 50 min of length

It also seems that other dramas on youku have no air date on saturday-sunday either ...

after the new calendar update it seems that ep 36 is not the end. they didn't put an "end" afterwards, indicating the final... like with other shows

People are right now going berserk here because it seems they only will release 36 episodes. But I also would like to know if we really loose 4 episodes.

As much as I ship FL & ML - I also hope Wu Jin Yan and the actor who plays Shen Yurong (Ex husband) will have another drama together. Their chemistry works also really well.

if shen yurong had not plan to kill his wife, after his mother and sister framed her of cheating - what would have happened to the FL? I guess at this point people already knew of the cheating allegations...

even though the ex husband is scum, I'm still interested in his story and what motivates him.

I may be the only one, but I'm also interested in her ex husband story.

I think this will premiere after Lost You Forever, so that this series can ride on TJC/XiangLiu hype train.

I'm so anxious about S2 - mostly because of XiangLiu... still can't wait to watch it.
