I guess this drama really is not that ambitious. They just want to show that people with traumatic childhood or painful past can heal and grow into kind and well accomplished people too. This is a nice change from the usual ‘abused children turn into psychopaths’ plot. Yes some people are unlucky and had no one to turn to when they were growing up, but still it doesn’t justify them to do ‘evil things’. “What if he was neglected or abused and died trying to fight back, will you still cry for him?” “If fight back means doing evil things, then no”. The message in epilogue is clear, look after yourself, seek help, but also try to reach out and help each other. We never know that our gesture of random kindness might give hope to other people. And try to live as long as possible because our lives are precious. And in this tough time that is the message we all need to hear.
I think Ik Jun will never acknowledge that he knows about Ik Sun and Jun Wan’s relationship unless they reveal it themselves. That’s what the writer has been hinting all this time.
Song Hwa was the perfect example of ‘it’s one thing to give advice to other people (like when she’s comforting Andrea), and another thing to experience it yourself’. Like when she found out that her Mother is really sick while she was being dismissive. That’s why she felt really guilty. I guess we often are in the same situation like her.
i guess i'm the only one that likes that the episodes are more romance filled
You’re not the only one. Since the beginning, judging by the poster and the title I know this is going to be a romantic drama. And they do it beautifully, not cheesy or annoying. Mystery and thriller elements are just added bonus for me.
I’m guessing what made Ikjun looked taken aback was, he saw that Iksun still has Junwan’s picture as her wallpaper. So he realized that his sister still has feelings for Junwan. That’s why he somehow arranged for Junwan to be in the same bus with Iksun.
