Isn’t Princess Yuan Wu from episode 22 played by Zhang Xin? I don’t see her listed in the cast.

the chemistry between these leads is insane — I haven’t felt anything more sensual like this in so long, not even in the usual long-format cdramas. Seriously, woah.

I literally watched like every more recent xianxia (after 2020 or so) and I keep postponing on this. I'm going to have to start it soon...

While I do like comedy and light moments, I’m more of an angst lover at heart. I’m on ep 6 right now and wondering—does it get more serious later on? I feel a bit detached from the story and even watch it on 2x speed, which I rarely do. Not saying the drama is bad at all—it might just not be for me yet. I’m just hoping it leans more into the angst or emotional depth later on, since it feels a bit too chaotic and parodic for my taste right now. I’m finishing it either way (I always do lol), but would love to know if it gets more grounded later!

Is that a Love Like the Galaxy reference in episode 1?! When they showed that scene (of the drama they were filming) from episode 10—it looked exactly like something from LLTG. The outfit she was wearing, the burning lanterns just about to fall on her, the way he saved her—it’s literally the same! I swear that happened in LLTG too or my memory is messed up.

Such a good, realistic coming-of-age drama that covers so many important themes. It truly deserves a 10 for being one of those rare shows about life—filled with lessons to learn and messages that stick with you long after it ends. Also some songs from the OST are so unique and beautifuuuul.

MASTERPIECE.I don’t usually watch this type of drama, and I didn’t have many expectations going in—but wow, this one blew me away. It’s so good. I genuinely loved everything about it. The pacing was perfect—not too short, not too long—and I don’t think I’ve ever watched a drama that didn’t bore me at all. I never once felt the urge to skip scenes or speed it up at 2x. That alone says a lot.Everyone should give it a chance. For me, it’s a solid 10/10 C-drama.The beginning felt a bit chaotic and confusing—I had no idea what was going on at first—but by episode 3 or 4, everything started to click. You just need a little patience, and it all comes together brilliantly. It honestly felt like a mix of Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, and some light horror or sci-fi elements. It has a bit of everything, but in a balanced way—never over-the-top or messy. The story stays coherent, even with so many different tones and genres blending in.And can we talk about the group dynamic? I loved the bond between the five main characters, plus Shen Kun and Free Cao. Their interactions brought so much warmth and heart to the story. It’s not exactly a “light watch,” but it gave me such a good, uplifting feeling. I’d even say it could help someone struggling emotionally—it really leaves a positive impact.I was a little worried about the ending because I saw some comments saying it was “anticlimactic” due to the lack of a big final battle. But honestly? We had intense fights throughout the whole show. The final episode didn’t need that—it gave us something more sentimental and symbolic, which felt right for the story. It was beautiful. And ultimately, it ended on a hopeful, happy note.

Title Squid Game Season 3 Spoiler
I really appreciated the core message of this season — that even in a world built on cruelty, humanity can still prevail. Gi-hun’s final act of selflessness, choosing to sacrifice himself for the baby, was powerful. It showed that redemption is possible, even for someone as broken as him.

That said, I honestly would've preferred if he could’ve survived and escaped with the baby. It would’ve been more fulfilling to see him finally keep his promise and go to his daughter for real this time. Leaving the baby with Jun-ho felt kind of random — maybe it was meant to be In-ho’s final gesture, giving both the money and the child to his brother as a twisted legacy — but it didn’t quite land for me.

Also, like many others, I really feel this show should’ve either ended with season 1, or at most wrapped up in 2 or 3 seasons — but in a more cohesive way. We didn’t need to stretch the continuation of season 2 into season 3 like that. If they really had to do it this way, they could’ve just made it “season 2 part 1 and part 2.” And above all: just end the games already.

That was literally Gi-hun’s entire reason for coming back. He gave up the flight to see his daughter — his only family — just to stop the games once and for all. And in the end, what did he even achieve? He proved to In-ho that humanity is redeemable, sure… but at what cost? His death felt anticlimactic. It didn’t hit emotionally the way it should have. If he had to die, it should’ve been in a way that felt more meaningful, more earned.

At least the baby survived… but all of Gi-hun’s pain and sacrifices from beginning to end felt a bit hollow by the time it was over. The message was clear — and I liked it — but emotionally? It just didn’t land the way I hoped.
