Viki has really been lagging picking up good dramas. I'm wondering if there is something going on with the platform.
More and more platforms are doing KDramas. So it was surprising that they overlaps several mediocre contents while some good stuffs aren’t still available. Maybe they prefer to stick to romance, sageuk and wuxia. I would be curious to know among their viewers how many pay the subscription. I only do the free content there as their serviceis a nightmare to add on my tv. Lucky us always some good Asian friends make everything available 😂

I wish too that the white truck was an unrealistic thing. But Everybody that I know who have been or is living in Seoul confirm that they had several near death experiences just by crossing the street. Apparently on the road they don’t watch and seem careless about others. Driver license is also very weak as the exam is basic and very short, driving lessons with professionals are mandatory. But the issue is wider than Korea and it’s applicable to several east and south Asian countries

So here their issues are so little, their only obstacles are themselves but they make such a fuss over spilled milk that it’s painful to watch. For Europeans it’s barely international to pick someone from the next country, just busssiness as usual! Or dating between Canadians and Americans. If it’s a fiction it should be a comedy!

Nam Ji Hyun Has been around for quite some time delivering solid performance that we have ended thinking she is old. She is only 5 years older than him! I rush to watch this one for 김재욱 and now I feel literally scammed!!! 🤣🤣🤣
For a period drama it’s an easy watch here there isn’t too much politics and back stabbing. Personally I wasn’t swooned by the romance as there wasn’t to me any build up or yearning on his part. Chemistry was also on the mild side for me, they did their acting job but I cannot picture the two of them being even friends. I am a strong believer of chemistry check before casting a couple as chemistry cannot be faked. The avenger part was under developed but nothing was dragged too long neither.

Watching the first episode I feel exactly the same as when I watch ed Was is love 2/3 years ago. Story and tone aren’t what the trailer implied so far…SLL productions have often lot of psychology and are compelling. Let’s see where it goes…

I saw this one. It’s on Prime now. It was mad. Heavy drinking as a way of life. 3 young and beautiful women fully drunk each week in Seoul…in real life who know that doesn’t end well
