My WeTV (PH) app yesterday shows launch date for TFJ: 06-09-2026 18:00

This morning (9th), it now shows launch date: 06-10-2026 12:00

I took off from work for the premiere and I'm worried that they pushed back the release date for TFJ in my region 😭

P.S. PH and CH has the same timezone

Youku (PH) doesn't have it, now I have to subscribe premium to Viu to see the first 5 episodes (when it should have been 6 😩)

Are the rumors true we're getting S2, read online all 4 main actors will return.. and I guess Yan An too, as his arc for Li Jie still somehow remembers to look for Ji Ling.. hope this is true

The premise uses the pronoun "He" for Tao Yao's character, is this gonna be gender-swapped? Does that mean I won't be able to see a live action female goofy, stubborn, mysterious, bully-on-the-outside compassionate-in-the-inside Tao Yao?? 😩 I hope that's just a slight error on the translation... though I know GJM always does lose inspiration on original sources but I really hope he gives justice to BYP.. like I know his dramas are heavy bromance-coded but a male Tao Yao simping on the Thunder God? And slowly getting attached to Si Kuanglan? I doubt that'll pass censorhip.. I'm all for the bromance-borderline-Danmei but not with BYP, I love Tao Yao as she is, and if GJM does pursues that route, there's a small chance this adaptation will see the light of day (our screens) unless he completely cuts off the romance trope.. which is.. well... not really BYP anymore..

I guess I'll have to wait for official casting announcements. For now I'll rewatch the entire donghua
