I find that the writer(s) did a good job on making the Mac's feeling after winning relatable.

oh damn I've watched 2/3 episodes of in-between and I found that it was somewhat familiar to this.

especially the theatre/play scene in inbetween is reminiscent of this.
i love These type of scenes, where the show uses a surreal/fourth wall breaking sequence to display the dialogue.

it doesn't take much to film some clips of a seagull or to pay a wildlife photographer to give them some clips.

so I don't get why they included that shot.

first of all, a plot twist isn't good if you couldn't have seen it coming, it is good if you should have seen it coming but didn't.
this one came out of nowhere, the only clue would be the odd atmosphere right before in the apartment, but that is just minutes before.
the ML has gotten next to zero character development, and the actors performance isn't more special than the 200 other cold ML's out there.

second, the redemption that is certainly coming will 100% be unearned and 200% lead to the cliche ML/FL archetype. the 2 characters don't fit together at all.
based on her motivations(wanting to see the world and fullfill a bucket list) she would be interested in an outgoing adventerous person with lots of experiences and stories. not in cardboard ML number 1793.

I am enjoying, but I find it unfortunate that they quickly sped through the adaptation phase.we had the fear/overwhelming/panic/... in EP 1, so I would've loved to see more curiosity, amazement,... in EP 2. not just a flashforward of her quickly learning what she needs to learn, there is so much she couldve reacted to.the running water, toilets, soft beds, quality of clothes, lights, dehydrated food, electric/gas stove, microwave, temperature of the buildings, windows, mirrors, insert any modern technology, ... and these are just the things to find in her house.


now that I think about it, i would love to see a show like that. does anyone have a recommendation of a show where someone comes from the past and their reaction to modern times is an important focus of the show.

why do they need to write a contract?
they will never be able to use the contract. because if the existence this contract gets revealed, they would both lose everything.
(he because he would be tarnishing the reputation of the royal family, and she because the ensuing scandal would force her to step down.)

there indeed so far hasn't been any mention of different mothers, but I am speculating based what the show has shown so far.
when the queen funeral was shown, the bother king wasn't shown grieving.
this creates the possibility that the two brothers don't have the same mothers.
it is also possible that the brother kings mother died earlier(possibly during his birth) and that the king was then later pressured into remarrying.
this could also explain why the king disliked i-an so much and why he was also not present at her funeral.

I assumed that that was because his father never really cared for him, always surprising him in favor of the crown prince.

they seem to be highly suggesting that, since the former king wasn't grieving with his brother.

so, the grand prince is the brother-king's half brother?
