I was thinking that he couldve contacted emergency services to prepare a net. since he probably didn't see her land after jumping.
but I do realize that it would feel a bit outlandish for her not to hear/see them before jumping.
I don't mind them having the future be changeable, since they revealed it in EP 1. imagine if they suddenly did that in EP 14,15 or 16, then it would've felt like a betrayal or Deus ex machina.
There are like 5 pages of reviews of Our Universe on MDL. So I started reading the reviews ... *** Just out of…
With a dumpster fire drama like this, I would believe people making their first interactions(other than searching things) on this site.
But I've also started seeing the tell-tale signs of people using AI.(Although I still believe some of these to be human)
I find it so odd to decide to use AI to write/edit comments and reviews. These interactions here really don't matter that much for the overall perception of the drama.
just watched the first episode, and never have I had better first impressions, just for them to be trashed a second…
it starts of with introducing her power and defining a rule around it. and tbh I loved the concept, her being able to involuntarily view out of context snippets of the future and not being able to stop it is interesting.
but then by the last third of ep1 they break the rule they've set up, and ML manages to prevent the future she saw from happening. making most of the events of ep1 useless. here is what I hoped that was going to happen after ML woke up: he has the dream, finds it odd and detailed but doesn't yet 100% believe it. he them meets FL and her date on valentines. an increasing amount of things come true, he tries to change things, but fails. everything happens as it did in the dream. so after the accident he tries to work around the dream, instead of against it. he tries to get evidence of the swap(like keeping the car for further investigation, camera footage,...) he also gets a rescue cue to save her after she jumps to her death. and that way, everything happens as they dreamt, but the outcome fully changes.
but anyways, about how things did go. her dismissing his words is a plot contrievence. she should've taken his words more seriously, especially after it started snowing. he also used the worst way imaginable to try and convince her.
incidentally, her and Asher mom also used the worst words imaginable for the smoker. the best they could come up with is "don't smoke it will kill you"?
I just finished it as well. there must be something wrong with me, lately I've been agreeing with the MDL ratings,…
I think it was probably a suicide. since they talked about how much he was "in pain" and how his wife said she should've been more attentive and asked about how he was doing.
Beautiful cinematography and a very nostalgic tone, but the story feels extremely predictable. After the first…
1 star? the theme is right there in the description. if you don't like that theme, why even start watching in the first place? even worse, why rate something that you already know that you won't like? why rate something based on the theme it chose? it's one thing if you don't like the execution of the theme, but if you don't like the theme, don't bother watching.
If you're reading this before watching the second half of episode 8, please watch until the end of episode 9 and…
besides the messed up apartment(looking for something to steal) the abandonment and betrayal when he was a child and the reaction of Mal's late brother.
besides all that, the biggest thing that irked me was the father ruining his son's reputation. the father went to all the neighbors and opened up about his son not wanting anything to do with him, but failed to mention the reasons. this obviously has the effect of people emphasizing filial piety, and criticizing ml for disrespecting his father.
the reason she dated was to forget about young pil and young pil didn’t date because he only loved her and would…
I mean you're just coming of as sexist. this almost comes over as slut shaming.
whatever she did when they were apart is her own business. I also dislike pathetic leads who stay single because of a past relationship, but that has nothing to do with her.
something about the 2nd ML just can't seem to like him at all. Also, this is getting quite frustrated. The ML's…
(as of EP 7) SML is just doing the text book green flag stuff, but doing going way to far. and beside that there isn't any chemistry between them. realistically, it doesn't even seem like they are friends. he gives her an umbrella when it rains, offers her a ride home, buys her a meal, fixes her lock, tries to protect her when there's danger.... but, he offers her that ride every single day staying hours of overtime doing basically nothing while she works. he also happens to show up at her child's daycare?!?
He couldn't be reached for at least a week for a boiler, but now he takes the initiative to fix her lock and ONLY hers.
he stays with her during overtime...but no one else does overtime, he is the boss and she is even a contract employee.
he tries to protect her... by telling the uncle of the child to stay away.(the uncle isnt a bad guardian at all)
The difference in how a man and a woman are treated. I literally don’t see a single comment saying that FL is…
there are tons of comments saying FL is bad for not setting up barriers. haven't watched ep 8 yet, so I can't comment on that. but beside the barriers, she doesn't seem to have done anything bad.
so we're really getting at least 8 eps of triangle huh.at this point both ML's have made their intentions clear,…
the problem with sml is probably that there doesn't seem to be a shred of chemistry between them.
if you remove just a few scenes(like the flashbacks and his scenes with ML) it would almost seem like he is her assistant instead of him persuing her. to me it feels like he read a book "what do I need to do for my crush to like me" and is just impleming the steps.

aside from that. what kind of contract worker gets that much work thrown at them? she is getting all the responsibility for everything.
and lastly the core concept of this show(in laws living together because of their nephew) is nowhere to be seen
whose skeleton was found in the reservoir and what was her real name in the end
the skeleton was an unrelated one.
her real name doesn't really matter. she is the girl who jumped in the reservoir. she is the temp wife who donated a kidney she is Sarah Kim
she says it herself "who I am is not important, if you see me as a business women then I am a business woman,..., but if you see me as a person you may come to understand me." it's less about who she is, and more about why she did it. why she created boudoir.
If at the end, she isn't truly Sarah Kim and probably no one. What's her stand to gain from creating Boudoir,…
she tried to kill herself, and the idea of "Boudoir" is what gave her the motivation to live.
she didn't want wealth(after she just donated a big amount) she never showed an interest in fame. but she did want to create a real luxury brand, and so she did. she doesn't gain anything from it. she won't be credited as the creator. but her vision has come true. she created a fake so fake that it becomes real.
I think the plot had several major issues, which explains the low rating. One example is how the detective determined…
I think the issue is time with confirming it is time. he is on the 48h deadline, and by the time of her confession he only had an hour left.
for the looking at her scar, I would imagine they would need some kind of permission to inspect her that way.
it would be to late to bring in witnesses. he even mentions it himself around the 2 min mark in EP 8. "everyone involved with the case will know that's a lie by just looking at you"
(I guess the could've face timed, but these kinda plotholes aren't to bad in shows. rapid communications isn't a plot device that the plot relied on in other places, so to ignore it here is acceptable.)
about mok ga Hui, it was said earlier that that identity was also fake. she used that to get a job there in that department store. the body was never recovered, so there was no prints from the body. and since she wasn't murdered, but killed herself, there wouldn't be a need to get prints from her home.
We never found out her actual age or name. And what's the point of saving the brand when she will own nothing…
she tried to kill herself by jumping in the lake earlier, but then because of the idea of "boudoir" she decided to live.
so it was boudoir who "saved" her from death, not the promise of wealth, not luxury, not status. so for her to choose to save boudoir is an extension of her choosing to live, she doesn't care much about her life anyways. (as evidenced by the scene of her smoking in the investigation room "I never had that urge to want to live 1 day longer, unlike rich people"
I might have another theory. She did choose him because he and all of her con victims had something in common:…
i assumed that she didn't "choose", but said that to make him on edge. she is a con woman, and playing on people's emotions is what she does best.
so maybe she looked him up before turning herself in, or she was just improvising.
it wouldn't really make sense for her to actually have chosen him, since she couldn't control when the body got found, or who would be assigned the case.
Was the boy in the car with the parents, is that why he has a patch on his cheek?
yes, he was in that car. if you look at the scene you'll notice that they avoided showing the other back seat. (and it would also be weird for his wife to sit in the back seat if the baby wasn't there)
but I do realize that it would feel a bit outlandish for her not to hear/see them before jumping.

I'll probably let this one rest for a few days before continuing.

haven't watched ep 8 yet, so I can't comment on that.
