Too much drama for a simple solution

Ok, so I after finished S1 I came here and the ratings and reviews scared me lool
How it was possible? S1 has 9.1 and this season review where so negative I was confused but now after finishing the all thing I see where people are coming from.

The biggest problem here was the lost memories plot. It took 8 episodes out of 10 and the revelation was dry asf. UK didn't seemed the surprise or happy at all. They dragged the drama so much. 5 episodes would be enough.

The filler with So-I was unnecessary, Yul almost dying because he was too guilty to ask for help didn't maked sense, plus he was planning to kill Naksu, the same friend he was guilty of leaving behind, I just can't understand really.

Every episode a new theory would pop up about Bu Yeon's soul, one episode it was gone and nnext episode it was still alive it was annoying and confusing.
The comic aspect was also gone ?1 or 2 jokes sometimes, but It was forced sometimes.
Bu Yeon's mom was a B, but they made her somehow a better person at the end LOOL

I really think they should wasted more time in showing Naksu's new personality to the public, she kinda lost her badass and rude attitude that we loved, the mannerism was there but still...

I'm not even mad at the change of personality I'm mad that they wasted her character, in my opinion she is living as BY and not as Cho yeong. It would be nice seeing her still as a skilled warrior with BY's supernatural powers, a mix of both. It would be better in my opinion. Her character in this season was just a love interesting of Uk, that was sad for me.

At the end she didn't fight along side with UK and that was disappointing to watch. Just another weak female lead at the end.

The change of cast doesn't ruin this AMAZING DRAMA!

I'm writing this review for everyone that doesn't feel like watching this because the cast changed.
I was also upset, when I found out the main leads would be replaced (actually they didn't want to come back, the director did everything he could) but since Lee Joon GI was cast, I gave the drama one more chance and IT DID NOT DISSAPOINT.
Most of the actors from S1 are gone, but the new ones actually studied the characters and imitate the same mannerisms and keep the same energy, which is good. Also, they added names, every time they showed up till the end of the season, so people won't be confuse who are they.

The storyline is still solid, the Taelha and Tagon character's don't lose their shine. Saya, Tanya and Eunseom have their character development too.

Keep watching.

Cute Story but DRAGGING

Pros: What makes this drama really entertainment (in my opinion) is the second couple. I find them way more interesting than the lead story (they are kinda boring and don't have a lot of intimate scenes) and I feel like at some point they have more screen time so you kinda want to see them more than the main couple.
The friendship between the girls is so pure and beautiful, the brother is the best character in this drama, the female lead is cute and the main lead is a great person.
Cons: I feel like if I watched this drama in my teen years I would love it and be one of my favourites, but now I'm almost 24 years and drama like this are really predicable and becomes very boring... this has 35 episodes and honestly I think is too much because the episodes are really similar, the story doesn't really move till episode 21...
Overall watch it if you want to watch something entertainment

This drama is on a scale of its own!!

I have been watchig kdramas for 10 years and I'm telling you this drama is on a scale of its own!
First of all the acting in this drama is beyond spectacular, the actors did a great job specially Lee Seung Gi. It's the first time he plays a role like this and he absolutely slayyy all his scenes I'm very proud of him.
The story line is completely different from the typical thriller drama, this one is full of and mystery (many people couldn't take it and drop it) too bad because is Masterpiece indeed.
The story line gets you involved since episode 1 and from there is a roller coaster, you start to suspect everyone to the point you just give up making theories and decide to just watch.
One thing I love and praise this drama is for giving us special episodes...that allow us to understand as it shows the different side of the coin.
Perfect ending writing is honest without any safe play they told the story with full of thrills from ep 1 to 20.

Ok so... this drama had potencial but they just focused on the cliches and ruin what could have been and excellent story.
So many open holes left, they made us believe the villan was DANGEROUS but he didn't do NOTHING to save himself, ploted revenge for 20 plus years and at the didn't move a finger or HAD a plan like c'mon.
The romance between the leads was FORCED. The female lead treat him bad always never showed a feling for him but all of the sudden they started dating and the viewers are supposed to shawlow that? The chemistry just wasn't there like. Kim Go Eun acting was good but LMH acting was ehhh always with a straight face no emotion just trying to be cute and mandly.
They just focused on romance with cliches and more cliches alot of crying always for no reason.
Honestly I didn't knew Woo Do Hwa but he was PERFECT only good thing about this drama and they give him nothing at the end.

A Time travel drama without plot holes? YES THIS IS THE ONE

Woww What a beautifull ride this was. I must admit that I started this drama 7 months ago, but the first episode didn't catch my attention so I put it on hold till now. I decided to give it a chance because, I heard the first episode is a pilot (plus this drama as 9.0 rating on mydramalist) and THANK GOD I DID. From episode 2 till the end this drama as FANTASTIC, WHen you are watching time travel dramas you often find plot holes, but I can't find one with this one. The story is confusing a little bi but not to the point you can't understand what is going on, everything make sense at the end.

The leads:
- Both the male lead and female lead made I great pair. Their chemistry is really great, for a hight school drama the romance was very well executed.
- Second lead was loyal till the end no unnecessary drama for no reason, I like how both friends deal about liking the "same girl".
- The ending was sad, but realistic, they didn't change the future to make the viewers happy and risk to make plot holes at the same time.
. The fact that they took time to make a special scene for the viewers is so sweet.

Overall: 9.5 (because the first of 1 episode).
Best taiwanese drama ever and belong in my TOP10 DRAMAS NOW

Good story and cast but wayyy to long

At first when I start watching this drama, I felt this was just pure hype. A mafia guy, fear by the all country (Italy) was being played like I child when arrives in Korea. I thought the rest of the cast annoying, basically I disliked everything but gave a second chance and end up loving all the cast.

Positives: The people fo plaza made this drama for me. They all so friendly and funny, I laught like a mad woman in all their scenes, I like that they start helping Vincenzo on his revenge plans.
The acting of Taecyong was amazing, he improved so much I was so suprised.


Negatives: This drama is wayyyy to long. 20 episodes, each 1h25 min is too much. I usually love drama with long episodes but the story line here dragged ALOT. Everythinng could have end in 16 episodes and I dare to day even 13 episodes would be enough. I see people saying this drama dosen't feel too long when watching when it airs and I totally agree. Is near impossible to bringe watch this in one go, i sjust the same plot all over again.
The romance.... why inclued romance in this? KDRAMAS writers never learn. Just because this is a drama, we don't need a romance between the leads. They would be perfect as friends but no they added romance for no reason and gave us only 2 kisses and an open ending.. JUST WHY?

Overall: 7
Watch this if you want to have a good time, the plot start moving around episode 17 everything else is just fillers.

UNDERRATED DRAMA

OK I have to write a review for this FANTASTIC DRAMA. I finish it in 2 days.

NO SPOILER:
Once in a while you found dramas that at first you don't think you will love it so much or just to pass time and this is an example. This drama is FANTASTIC. The story was very original, not the usually mistery/ criminal drama that I'm used to see, I mean the way they use to help people.... I love this unique touch.

The main lead is a normal kid, shy doesn't talk much and doesn't know what he wants to do in life. Well actually he knows, but is afraid to express it because is not the usual carrer path that others expect of him. He has low confidence in himself but has an big heart. He is actually more smart and has skills that people ignore. He also is experiencing grief and guilty from the accident what makes this drama more unique.

SPOILERS
STORY.
The obsessive creatures actually helped him with the grief and he helped back. He also learned more about himself and gain confidence in each episode.
The obsessions creatures coming back to wake him up was pure gold. Glad he could see his dad one last time, I cried happy tears when YY was crying.

ACTING
The acting was amazing here, love the mother-son relationship and how they support each other. Is good to see parents that actually support their kids dreams.

FRIENDSHIP
The relationship between the cop and high school "enemy" was amazing. The chemistry between the three is perfect, I'm so glad it was no love triangle here just pure friendship. the bromance was fun and unique, never saw anything like this.


This is a 10/10 drama for me.

Beautifull love story and fantastic side characters

This drama was such a beautiful love story, the actor did an amazing job. The actress that played the female lead did such an incredible job, never saw any work of her before I'm a fan now. Xu Kai did amazing protraying two different characters, QuingMu was such a fresh air in this drama, Is the character that I will miss the most. Tianqi and Gu Hu deserve kudos for their role, the best side characters ever always loyal and passion.
My only complaint is that since Shanguu woke up the romance part of the drama died, It would be better if they added on more episode or more time in the last episode so we could see more happy moments with the happy family. They ended Wu Huan case so quickly and this episode was just a filler till the last 10 minutes...
Still one of the best Xin Xian dramas I watch till today.

Ride of frustation and some moments of glory

WOOW what a ride. This drama really surprises me, I already knew it was going to be a sad ending, but I still wanted to see how all this plays out at the end.
It's impossible to not feel sad for Ru Yi at the end, if she never married the Emperor maybe she would be free all her life...

I have to admit RY's character pissed me off sometimes, I wanted to see her more "evil" with spies and powerful allies, but she was always so chilled and people framed her so many times and she still didn't turn "evil". I ended up respecting her for maintaining her manners and ideals till the end.

Han Lain's character surprised me a lot, she was a coward and would cry for everything but when she opened her eyes, she never closed them again hahah she was loyal till the end and even got her hands dirty for RY.

The Emperor... well, I didn't feel sorry for him, he lost so many people along the way and regretted overtime but still didn't learn. He died alone just what he deserves.

Jia and YW performance in this drama was fantastic and the retributionwas perfect for them.
