But for the novel Lu Qian Qiao and his mom are special case (Perfect War Demon). Most War Demon as we know in the novel are strong, but they aren't perfect war demon strong.

If you do read the novel, watching PA and Rebirth does give you a good idea of what happens in the novel. I would start at Chapter 189; this was slightly before the ice lake events.
Also, note that Chu Qiao in the novel was reborn into the world with prior knowledge and memory of her being a special agent. That's why she is so skilled. She starts the novel at 6 years old; time skip: she was 14-15 when Yan Xun and her rebelled. By the time of the near-the-ice-lake events, she was 16-18.
