Well we had our kumbaya moment…everyone sitting around the table as happy as they can be. This is really where I feel it should have ended. We have two couples who have gone public, we have a bromance which may last an eternity, we have two single guys who both need a life and may be the perfect match for each other. For me, this is a wrap. Can’t wait to read your comments next week. Happy New Year!
I am able to generally find at least one positive thing to say about a series. If it’s really abysmally bad…
I agree. I was drawn by the inclusion of those with physical disabilities also. Two great storylines which could have been developed better. Well, it’s a start.
This relationship between Gun and Golf is just poorly written. I've known plenty of couples with extreme work…
I am able to generally find at least one positive thing to say about a series. If it’s really abysmally bad I just drop it. But I have hung around for ten episodes thinking the next episode would get this series back on the right track. I started watching because of the cast. I think they are each genuinely talented but I regretfully have to agree with your analysis. Ever have a job that you will never put on your resume or bring up in a job interview. Well, for these actors this is it. This is the one you just chalk up as a life experience and vow never to be sucked in again. You learn to do your do diligence. You read the script. You ask questions and if you don’t get the right answer you learn to say no. If you have to pay your bills accept it for what it is…hold your nose, take the money and vow to do better so you don’t get put in this situation again. I refuse to watch the last two episodes before I read the spoilers. Then I will make my decision. Take care, stay well and Happy New Year!
To the folks saying Dew was being messy this episode should look into gaslighting and emotional manipulation.…
Thank you…I agree. Emotional manipulation is the worse. Cultural manipulation is equally bad. I know a young man who was like Dew. He knew he was gay. His mom knew he was gay. His wife knew he was gay when she married him. He wanted so much to conform to everyone’s wishes that he went along to get along. Less than a year of marriage everyone realized you cannot pray away gay. Fortunately his wife apologized, they divorced and are still friends. His mo ther finally accepted there would be no grandchildren in the conventional way. And everyone else just had to deal with it. It’s hard to go up against your parents and your culture. So I personally have no ill feelings toward Dew.
Yeah I don't get that part, can you explain to me how this whole series works????
Well as I see it they are in parallel universes but the common denominator is Room 609. We do know that at some time they will meet in the same universe because they almost did before. What will be interesting is how Mint will react seeing the two of them together. Also when or if she shot Dew which universe was she in? This probably has you even more confused but that’s why I am enjoying this series. I’m really just going with the flow. Happy New Year!
Can we all agree Mint is a psychopath…this is really good…I have actually known females like Mint…they show up at your job….they constantly check your phone….if they can’t have you nobody will…I hate Mint but can’t wait to see how we finally get Mum and Dew in the current time and together.
I just can’t watch anymore. It’s just too sad to see Gun and Golf break up. And it looks like everyone is at a standstill. Maintaining a good loving relationship is hard work. I know….and when you are starting out in your career you can develop tunnel vision. I’m going to wait until the end before deciding if I want to finish. I just don’t feel like feeling sad right now.
I totally understand the frustration on the flawed characters in RBAs someone mentioned, if you are not into very…
Thanks for the heads up. I tried both of the series you mention and they were just not my cup of tea . The infidelity/ betrayal trope is just not my cup of tea and unlike a lot of people I will not score a series low just because of my own personal preference.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone! This year, I’m grateful for Between Us. ♥️ That being said,…
Happy Holidays to you. On this cold winter day I relish this warm, lighthearted caveat. I agree with all Sweet V. said so no need to repeat. I really got chuckle out of the coffee ordering. It reminded me of when my daughter orders from Starbucks…lol…I never get it right so I stopped trying.
I rather believe in reincarnation than someone surviving a bullet to the head and falling off a cliff. The more…
Didn’t seem so far fetched to me since I know someone who was shot at close range multiple times and survived. This is fiction so I always prepare myself for whatever.
I guess the last ep is really a full circle with ep 1… I think I’m ok with it that way. Basically ep 2-15…
Yes yes finally another person who remembers how this all started. When he got shot I know many of us was hoping that he somehow would be saved….it took 13 episodes to happen and suddenly people are mad that he didn’t stay dead. How soon we forget.
