Yeah you are lol. But that’s my opinion. That’s the beauty of this forum. We can post about the dramas we like and dislike and discuss. In my opinion, it’s beautiful. The actors’ chemistry fixes anything that could possibly be wrong with it. I’m on my 5th time watching it. About the plot not making sense… for me, I had to watch it at least twice to really understand what was going on. I blame the subtitles.
Over all this was pretty great. Sure they rushed the ending but I am amazed this came out of a CBL.
I love it. They did rush the ending. I wish they would have had one more episode to show that they lived happily ever after lol. I was also amazed he got this much, but I thought I read somewhere that it was filmed in Taiwan or Hong Kong rather than China “proper.” So that might be why. Who knows.
The actors were sooo good, I didn't care:● what was the purpose of showing the ex lover?● whyyyy was there…
The purpose of showing Wang Shou was to give background about Chi Cheng and Gao Cheng’s relationship. He was the reason they went from “brothers” to acquaintances. Although they are still “friends” there are definitely hurt feelings between them. Also, by that time, Da Bao and Chi Cheng are in love with each other and it offers a bump in their relationship. WS is the reason CC hasn’t dated anyone seriously in 7 years because WS and Gao Cheng betrayed him and broke his heart. We got little of the second couple bcuz they were secondary characters - it wasn’t their story. Plus, they didn’t have much drama in their relationship. WS’s brother was just part of his story. It was just an extra characteristic into their dynamic. Yeah, we did get less romance toward the end,
I watched this series a couple of times and I don't get something, maybe someone can help me? Initially, Suo Wei…
In the beginning, it was coincidence that they were meeting. Fate? Then the scene where Da Bao is working for Xaio Shuai’s uncle delivering to Chi Cheng’s workplace he sees ChiCheng and Yue Yue together and thinks that CC has been stalking HIM and ruining his “jobs” bcuz he’s YY’s ex. So, DB decides to get even with them both by making CC fall in love with him. The reason he starts panicking later on Is bcuz at that point, he genuinely likes CC and is afraid CC will find out about the connection between he and YY and also, how would he explain it? He wants to come clean but is afraid CC will break up with him. Gao Cheng knows that Da Bao is YY’s ex because he investigates his background, but he keeps it to himself. CC doesn’t find out about the connection until he goes to visit DaBao’s mom much later in the story when she’s sick. But, he’s in love with Dao Bao and just waits to find out how things will unfold.
Did he really kill someone or did he witness his brother doing it instead like the blood splatter wouldn’t be…
He killed him. He had to or else the dad would’ve killed him. His dad’s the head of the mafia. In the book, Tiger doesn’t have a relationship with his parents. He is there to do his dad’s bidding and if he doesn’t, he is of no use. Up until now, Leo has done all the bad stuff so Tiger didn’t have to, but the dad is forcing him.
This part seems so transom and unconnected. They should have put them in the uni and just done flashbacks to the…
They wanted to show how long Tiger’s been invested in Nao. In Jo/North’s story Tiger was just a friend who liked another friend, nobody knew about the years of pining for him and what actually brings them together. It’s tough when you’re watching something and want “results,” if they follow the book, the end result will be worth it.
It's on inkitt love, the translations aren't the best cause it has some typos and uses the wrong words/pronouns…
You know, you’re absolutely right, That worries me. I want to know what they are actually saying! I had a hard time with the book translations for SFAS and LIWS. It took me FOUREVER to get through the beginning of Tiger and Nao. I just didn’t understand who was saying what. I read it awhile ago and you just reminded me how difficult the beginning of the story was for me lol! Where are our Thai/English speaking baddies that can translate!?!

I get the feeling that the Thai language doesn’t really differentiate pronouns the way the english language does, because I notice this a lot in subtitles lol
i didn't feel like this was filler, but given there only 5 eps left, i didn't care so much that we getting a branch…
The book was pretty slow and a little boring in the beginning, but it should start picking up next episode. The ending of the book is great and I really hope we get a special episode that shows it,
why did today's episode feel like a filler episode 😭
There is A LOT to their story. They’re trying to give us the back story. I wondering how they were going to visualize it. So far they’re doing great and going by the book.
