but what you said makes sense and those drama's needed the proper kiss to seal the deal or just like all the men in the world, he just likes them and was horny, so he did it that time.

It depends upon your taste cuz its a complicated plot with grey characters, and both leads have manipulative leaches attached to them. ML has his brother, who uses him like tissue paper and don't even pay him and FL have his boss, who thinks he owns her.
So plot is gona be complicated in the future.....so I am waiting for this emotional ride.

Its okay right now with bright prospects for character development and some of the characters have already started showing their negative side like, ML fake brother uses him tissue paper to get rich and don't even pay him for the work.

So it already has "SCUM BROTHER" vibes, where he uses him and gives him nothing in return.

That doesn't count anybody will kiss Dilraba, if give the chance to do so and if I remember correctly there was no kissing scene in "One and only".

You can call me cocky idiot but the pain/emotion/meaning/impact behind these two lines is even above the script of "Hidden love" upto this point. I am not hating it but "Hidden love" is a fluffy drama, which invokes the single linear emotion of happiness, which you will not remember after finishing it.
Drama's like Go-Ahead are the ones, you will remember for ages cuz they can invoke multiple emotions and make you feel things for characters. Hence, former deserves a 8.5 and latter deserves a 9+

I will give you guys reasoning for my opinion.
Firstly, there is no denying the fact, that its well done but again its Lu Si drama and She will make sure her acting is absolutely on point. The chemistry between leads is amazing but the main problem here is the "PLOT", which although unique in some ways is predictable and screenplay writing is sub-par.
The storyline is linear, repetitive and predictable with poor character development. Take Jing Yi for example, she acted like complete physico for two episodes but then disappeared completely and after that, the guy which was interested in Sang Zi completely disappeared from picture after one try.
The point I am trying to make here is, its not some extraordinary and unique shit, that blows me away and I have never seen anything like it. I am not saying its bad or anything like that but we are rating it 9.1, which puts it in top echelon of MDL drama list. Its a good watch with great chemistry and deserves anything from 8.4-8.7 but cuz its Lu Si drama....so people are praising and rating it way above its worth.

I bet its wasn't the fault of the novel or original script but the screenplay writer WHITE-WASHED the characters to make it appealing to all those Femi-Nazi rampant in 21st century. They are literally making it very safe and in doing so, they have removed the uniqueness and greyness of the characters. Now in the script ML and FL are like saints with negative's associated with them, even getting stood-up3 times on date would infuriate anybody but they resolved it like its nothing. I just get it, how they have unrealistically portrayed society in there, her friends and his workplace colleagues, nobody raised an issue about 24-year-old going after 19-year-old freshman.
I also don't agree with "Problematic age gap" trash but society on the other hand does, and they will react negatively towards it and talk shit behind your back or make faces at you..... So what I am trying to say is, it was supposed to be a struggle for them to be together against overwhelming odds stacked against them with "19 year old" acting like one in there with her tantrums BUT what I am seeing is a BUTTER SMOOTH journey. The story is too neutered for the sake of not raising controversies, which makes it easy on eye but less appealing overall.
So, I will rate bit 8.5 for the sake of Lu SI acting Powerses but it certainly doesn't deserve 9.1 to put it in leagues with "LLTG" and Go-Ahead. Whoever disagrees with me, should watch Go-Ahead and then decide for yourself, does it deserves to be rated above it. They have also dealt with controversial issue in there but that drama storyline, script and acting was leagues above this one.

don't read the novel, the character of CWD in novel is a actual monster and deserves decapitation.

Nope then I challenge you to watch Go-Ahead and other C-Drama with proper deep storylines and good acting before making a conclusion. I am not judging but you seem to be fan of simple and straight-forward plots.

TTEOTM was actually not their fault cuz before Chinese censorship law, it was supposed to be in 2 parts and 2nd part was supposed to be about their 4th life in mortal realm.
That was the final novel Happy-ending and Tantai Jin would have spent his life with his daughter and wife and this time, it was Su Su who spent thousands of years looking for him and She made sure they had the happy life after that.
but as we know....Chinese authorities committed "Crime against Entertaiment" by limiting the number of episodes to 40 with no second part and if rumours are to be believed, there is also a ban on reincarnation dramas now.
So, I am the type of person who doesn't give up and I really hope Youku is not fucking with us or even if they are doing it, they should give us proper closure with proper funeral.
