What you said is true up to some extent, screenplay writing of this drama is terrible and I am not defending that but again its K-drama industry fault and their obsession with keeping maximum episode limit at 20.

I believe K-drama fans can't don't like complicated plots cuz majority of K-drama's have simple and straight forward stories. I am actually enjoying this drama, but majority of people hate it for some reason.
Guys I am not trying to change your viewpoint, but these 20 episodes are supposed to cover the whole novel, which actually need full 40 episodes tv series.

ML is Kang San according to the novels and I don't care he is rookie cuz his character portrays, greatest growth potential among all of them.

Finally. one toxic bitch down and 3 more to go and I believe senior Mu, her healer friend and princess are demons in immortal sect.
I will rate this show 10/10 if they kill that councillor bastard tomorrow......Luo Yin Fan should use his both swords on this special occasion and I suspect She will become demon in next 2 episodes. Apart from that, this show casting director is responsible for low ratings. cuz he selected the most irritating support cast possible in the world for this drama.
