Let's end this discussion, you are Allen Ren hardcore fan. I like him too so I don't want to be labeled as his hater. I will just say, I am not seeing the legendary Allen Ren who can talk with his eyes here !

Yep, LOTTTTT of ROMANCE and ML is giving love bites and Hickie's to FL in every episode....they even did rope stuff in ep 3 until jealous SML abducted FL😂😂😂😂.

She shouldn't have picked a side in ep3 by knocking over ML and letting that guy to escape. That's like invitation to ML to hurt her even more !

I know he wants to kill ML but difference between the two is, ML will look at the border picture and took the honourable way, while he is a coward who can only hide behind people, target married woman, try to assassinate people and do all kind of shit.
The point I am trying to make here, people were at my throat for saying SML is a bad dude but now he has shown his true colors and I hope FL realises, who stupid of her it was defend him with her life.
I hope she don't stop ML from killing him again!

I will say something controversial here,
Allen kinda missed the mark in this portrayal of grey character and made it darker, we didn't see hesitance and struggle with righteousness in his portrayal and I know its nit-picking, but its Allen Ren and I expect him to be at his "A" game 24/7.
His acting is good don't get me wrong here but it's not Allen Ren lvl good, dude could have used flick of his eyes to portray the emotion. I see layers within his character, but I don't see useful LAYERS!

This is a website designed with purpose of discussing things and this isn't fan-war cuz I am not dissing Allen Ren, nobody can say he is a bad actor but he isn't a perfect actor either. He as room for improvement and just cuz I like someone (allen ren) doesn't mean I am going to agree with everything they have done. He lacks charisma and that's why people are hating him !
Luo Yun Xi also has room for improvement in some areas (his attitude being one of them).

That's why although I understand ML point of view, he is still the criminal in that situation and if we have to award someone. ML should be receiving asshole award, as for romance I don't think it should even exist in this drama!

I haven't watched the latest episodes yet but he has always been like this, he has tried to kill ML multiple times and forced FL against her will by abducting her, forcing her to learn qin, taking advantage of her kindness by using scenarios and create scenarios in which ML will turn on her, donating his skin and forcing FL to owe him and save FL in ship, so that ML won't kill his sister.
Y'all were blind to begin with and he even lives now cuz ML grandfather saved his life and he paid him back by trying to kill his nephew !

FL was siding with the killer, so why is she surprised now at his behaviour !

Yeah I have realised that, but her behaviour was sus during the whole altercation, if she kept silent ML would have prolly not taken the next step.

I am not trying to start "Fan wars" here but Allen Ren kinda went OVERKILL and didn't show us and FL enough hesitation, neither does his behaviour in remainder of episode show hint of sadness.
They should have handed it over to Luo Yun Xi, acting pitiful and pathetic while being reincarnation of being a literal devil god is his speciality and he had the skill set to make audience sympathize with literal source of all evil.

Lol, I said similar thing and was cooked alive. I completely understand ML point of view and ML was on the job there, his behaviour was very respectful/reasonable in the beginning, he first warned her with slash, then with poison and finally with stab (by releasing the negative pressure of pleural cavity) but FL didn't get the memo and still created a mess, he made her pay the price for it. He did what he saw fit in that tense situation!
I get all of that but at the same time, FL was completely innocent bystander who didn't pick sides and ML did hurt her. She was un-wanted causality and I know innocent people pay the price for high stake games, male leads were playing there BUT still.......

ML mortally wounded her, she nearly lost her life...deadly violence was used against innocent bystander and FL has EVERY RIGHT to hold grudges. Whatever his reasons were got nothing to do with her and she reserves the right to "have her revenge", whatever way she sees fit.

I agree with your ML point of view but when he will catch feelings, he is an as.... who hurt her and have to put 1000 times more effort and if she doesn't want to be with killer, its fair game !

I have just watched 20 minutes of ep 1 and I don't see any way in which, love can blossom between them.

Guys nobody is defending ML actions here and if FL tries to take revenge and attempts to kill him down the line, it's ABSOLUTELY FAIR he was an asshole to begin with. As for recent SIMP trend, ML in other dramas didn't do shit and were badly treated.
While in this one, I don't think grovelling is gona cut it, ML better be "DRAGGING HIS BALLS 100km THROUGH THOUSAND SHARDS OF GLASS" to be with her. Even then if she selects the SML or TML in the end, its fair game and I/people won't/should be complaining if he ends up dying in the end and we have bad ending. I don't know how they are going to justify Leads romance down the line other than "Stockholm Syndrome" and some other wired shit cuz it does seem like point of no return to me. The only thing, I would say is although FL was innocent party who got caught in crossfire and 1000% deserved better BUT ML is a VILLIAN here, the bloody ASSASSIN and "Kindness and mercifulness" are usually not the traits associated with them.
as of right now (ep 1) the only character ship worthy is "FL" with herself alone !

Good he shouldn't retire and continue his career.... people who are not able perform at 20% of his acting potential are still in large in the industry.
