I feel you brother and can you enlist other good dramas or this year. I was busy with other stuff and didn't have enough time for C-Dramas.

Even with all that, it's still one of the better dramas out there. Although I prefer Imperial coroner over it but still it's a solid 8-8.5 watch.

Yep, and not only that ¨cholecystectomy¨ performed by the FL is a medical miracle. She didn´t even disinfected…
You are spitting facts brother but this drama is trying to be medically accurate.

Title Coroner's Diary Spoiler
This keeps getting better and better, after performing Phantom surgeries. FL senior has managed to get his hands on Nitric Oxide (though onset of action and potency points more towards Halothane and Isoflurane). Which wasn´t discovered until the early 1800´s but at this point, who cares FL may very well perform Thoracic Aortic Dissection and craniectomy..... and nobody would bat an eye. I am more interested in how that open air incense burner is managing anesthetic concentration at MAC 1.2.

I think that Senior mfo is researching new surgical technique and he was advanced his study from animal trails to human trails now. He may or may not be trying to perform heart transplant on his wife and for that. He is using patients with symptoms similar to his wife as test subjects.
Yes, senior need ¨cyclosporine¨ to prevent organ rejection but I highly doubt he will be successful. It's almost impossible with technology of the era !

Wait you are right tho but why was excreted fluid was green in color like it was some sort of bile leakage. Now I am even more confused like what she achieved by doing that, like yes you have temporarily relived the symptoms but if underlining cause is not treated properly. Ascites will reappear again and she just left it at that. We use simple needles and local anesthesia for the whole procedure, but grandma appeared to be under General Anesthesia and incision was suspiciously large for one needed to aid in needle insertion in extreme cases.

So, the senior doctor is sacrificing the lives of poor villagers to treat his sick wife. I suspect she was some sort of leukemia, bone marrow failure or aplastic anemia. Due to which she needs whole blood transfusion every week and so.... that mfo is using rudimentary blood matching test (agglutinations on mixing) to find possible donors and execute them. Further evidence to support this theory is found in nature of his crimes, like the dead girl was last member of her family. That mfo must have known that blood group is inheritable trait and descendent of the family members are very likely to have same blood group. Hence, he is sacrificing entire families to save his wife !
I don´t want to hear LOVEEEE bs here..... that mfo is a doctor and his profession is to save people, but he is doing exact opposite of that. Let's hope FL or princess doesn´t share same blood group as his wife !

It’s 38 ep., so 5-6 ep to solve a case seems reasonable. At current ep., they are still into second case.
His father is Emperor's brother and in order for him to become crown prince current emperor has to abdicate to his father.

Nobel idiocy cuz she believes she can turn him back to good side.
Nope and I really after all that ¨don´t do anything without evidence crap¨ she doesn´t try to save her cousin.

That may not be the case here cuz FL is primarily focused on revenge and ML is not a crown prince. That being said there will be some "Politics involved" cuz FL father may have been silenced by the royal harem in order to stop him from investigating "Prince Jin" case.

Shimmering Plight
Because almost everybody in the Qin house knew of their father crimes, every servant knew that purple bambo forest is off limit due to dubious reasons an there is something shady going on in there(Shimmering). Yet it's a plight cuz 14 innocent girls were tortured to their death and I suspect CCP censored it..... original story may have violent sexual crimes leading to girls death.
That uncle is literally a Satan roaming wearing human skin !

Dictionary of FL,
Chun Chila rabbit = Her
New Cat = 2nd FL
Henceforth, first she was pissed at him for replacing rabbit/her with a cat/FL and when ML insisted on keeping both. Her blood boiled cuz now he was trying to form a throuplet with both FL´s in the mix.

I second that.... I hope the friendship dynamic between the leads remains the same till the end with no major fights. Du Shang and Xaio Man have their own novel.... Drama is also alluding towards this fact, so I don't think FL will come between second CP.

Landy Li is on a roll recently!
That being said what kind of a blood thirsty cultist family is this, father is a sadist, grandma loves filling in old wells and their young master loves to commit murders. I never thought I would say this ¨Strive forward Caihe Murderer¨ we are with you and while you are at it infect grandma with anthrax/tetanus infection !
