The most concerning part about all of this is, aforementioned events happened in fictional drama but here we have horde of real-world-breathing woman affirming her actions and behaviour. According to them, it's nothing and she is just jealous and sometimes it really baffles like how they can´t fathom or understand gravity of her actions and dismiss male leads feelings as nothing. The problem with her is ¨she is not as smart as she thinks she is¨ and her behaviour reminds me off Cersei Lannister. If she was so smart, why didn`t she realizes her father doesn´t like or trust her so called God Father, and her entanglements with him is a major problem for ML. After that why doesn´t she realised ML has no choice but to agree with her father execution. Lastly there was no need to make the whole thing political and stop talking nonsense, if Chinese woman were so unhappy they would have tried to ¨mass rebel¨ and speak against the system in ancient China...like they did in the West. But we see no signs of this behaviour in China cuz woman were content with being rich gals going around blowing their husband money like no other. Funny thing is, it's actually CCP (Mao) who actually forced woman empowerment upon Chinese society and banned trash like concubinage and forced marriage. They worked for decades until toxic feminism got so out of hand. They have to step in and tone down some of extreme stuff like ¨Bride price¨ and other stuff after 200million+ young men refused to marry (sending china birth rate into nosedive) unless something was done about requirement like ¨House in first tier city, sports car, 6 feet height, millions in saving and 500,000+¨ bride price. I am telling you all this, so that you should stop looking at everything from western perspective, Asian woman in general (including middle east) are happy with status quo and will fight to maintain it. If you don´t believe me just visit Korean/Chinese/Japanese social media and you will thousand if not million of woman pulling down influencers for just wearing shorts (wearing bikini is also considered crime according to some). Just cuz me and you like modern liberal society doesn´t mean everybody else does and we have no right to tell them, how should they live their own lives.
