Even I remember I read it somewhere that the Chinese adaptation of My Love from the stars also suffer from censorship, because the male lead is sort of an alien in the kdrama, it was forbid by the Chinese gov so they change the male lead background in the Chinese adaptation to a novel writer or something like that, lol

Yo, if the webtoon choose that kind of route, I'd say it's a blessing in disguise if people haven't read them yet so they can watch & enjoy the drama with a fresh mindset

Ahahaha how can I forget them, yo court lady Choi & royal Chef pairing will be hilarious to watch, as for the maid, she has more chemistry with Bong Hwan tbh, credits to SHS, lol, or was it CJH? SHS is really rocking BH character it's so believable!

I don't even read the webtoon but I blame YT for spoiling their recent chapters when I wasn't even looking for it, it just pops out of nowhere on my feeds, lol, and gosh I have to say, I really hope they won't follow the path the webtoon has taken, I dislike JG from the webtoon even from that last few chapter only!
I hope the drama won't make JG dating the other guy if she won't even end up with him or make her sort of playing both feet.
Like mopping for one guy after coldly ditched him then make her end up with the other, hell no it doesn't make anysense!
It reminds me of Born Again heroine somehow, a dramawhere I despise how irrational the writer has made her heroine's character become.

I don't need another drama where the heroine suffers from lacking common sense like Born Again & Start Up heroines.

So far, I love this drama, love all three main leads, but those last few chapter from the webtoon I read was like a nightmare, so let's not go there, drama God, please!

And so far, we already get a kiss each from 3 different ship, lol

Best 2020 & such discovery, been months I've completed the series, but their OSTs, their story, friendship, lovestory last on me till this day & will stay with me for a very long time, the only drama that I went rewatching it soon after completing it because by then I understand the depth of the story & appreciate it even more.

Just a lil' advise to dear future watchers:
1. Make sure you watch it pass their first few ep (pass ep 1 or 2, I guess) I almost didn't make it pass ep 1 but THANK GOD I didn't drop it! Trust me, you'll regret dropping this gem, they're amazing, beautiful, heartwrenching with a great plot, one of the best I watch from all time, not only this year!
2. Make sure you watch their special ending clip, you'll understand the ending & appreciate the drama more

Ikr, this drama has so much problem to be in the 8 ratings area, their verified rating 7.6 is more appropriate although I find they deserve even lower

You may wanna try Zombie Detective too as B1G-sM0nk hv suggested, it's hilarious :P

Am almost dropping it on their first ep too, it was cringey & boring, but after their first few ep, damn am blown away, & even went back rewatching it again right after completing it, lol

Thank you for the insights! Interesting to hear what it looks like on the Chinese ver, here the king is being constantly cold to her, so it's rather unpredictable where the plot heading towards to. Am wondering whether there's any misunderstanding between the real queen & the king and would the king get softened up towards the chef or the real queen :))
