I love action, politics, drama, thriller, suspense, romance & had no problem with other kdrama with the same genre, so yes your argument is not valid. Again, we don't need to tell others what to watch or should not watch, let them decide by themselves & respect eachothers opinion. From the beginning you can simply said disagree with my statement & we can agree to disagree with, no need to argue this long. If you put down your blinding glasses you'd see that I have given enough reason on my statement. I said it here & there, in this comment, in other comment & other pages. & I don't see any importance to rewrite it all over again just for you when you're already that defensive, none of my statement would matter to you & am too tired for that. By saying badly written characters I'd never imply Yoojin in that, I myself had said before that she is a 3D kinda character & I like that, but the main one (Jeha & Anna) I find it not so much, but again this is my pov, am not asking you to agree with me. Well, seeing how many people dissapointed with the writing flooding the comment section here & there, on mdl, db & other sites it's pretty much reflecting the lack of writing. No need to pointed out what genre is K2 all about, am aware of it & it's one of my reasons to watch. Yes yoojin's character is amazing & am glad I discover SYA from watching K2, but the writing in the recent episodes is getting poorer, as they got lost in between whether to focus more on the politics or romance & none as a result with too many random unimportant scenes. Yoojin's character charm is also fading away with her lesser screentime & wrote as plainly evil. It's already halfway through & it seems Jeha doesn't even understand what goal is he trying to achieve. His seek of revenge was his main reason to join JSS & now it seems he doesn't even remember it? No need to tell others "if you don't like don't watch" though, since who are we to decide? Everyone had their own reason to watch & that's their rights

Lol, I feel you, there're too many cheesy & cringey unimportant scenes, like on ep 8 when lots of people, reporters gathered around Anna's house & treated her like a fallen angel, LMFAO...like seriously?? & with that kind of duration, they're running out of idea, aren't they? Ep 8 scenes were so random & felt mediocre.

Hi @dejawufan if you're into a badass type main lead character, intense action, dark/noir vibes with a suspense & engaging plot, I'd totally recomended you to watch Cruel city, it's truly a masterpiece :)

Compassion, sympathy, attraction maybe, but definitely not for love otherwise it will feel shallow & am pretty clear what Jeha gives to Anna is a loving gaze & gesture, I can nearly see numerous hearts popping from his eyes, lol & his overdone gesture/acting over that ramen prettymuch confirmed it.
I don't know if the problem is the writing, the acting or the directing, but I don't think it's the acting, since if somehow JCW unintendedly gives Anna a loving gaze/gesture when he shouldn't be, the director wouldn't allowed him & it will be an NG. And seeing the way they romanticized that CPR kiss (which is a pretty laughable scene to me), well I know it was intentional.

Well, it would be so much helping if Jeha didn't give his hearteyes over Anna's ramen dancing & didn't show any affection before they get along & know eachother as a person. The problem is the writer has forced us to believe that Jeha had an affection for Anna & even give us that slowmo kiss only to develop their relationship later. That's why we called it force, instant, fake, shallow, whatever it called. It is not our fault if we didn't buy their romance as they don't even bother to convince us or even try to develop the background of their relationship first, before that hearteyes/affection/that loving gaze Jeha gives to Anna, it just came out of nowhere. I know am not the only one who's feeling this way & it's just showing how badly written it is.

Well, even JCW & SYA can't save this drama from the badly written characters & plot. It's already half of the series but the story keep going on circle & Jeha seems to forget that he seek for revenge on Ranaiya's death, lol. I keep rolling my eyes when I see ep 8, so it turnsout K2 is now changing from that potential action politics kdrama's writing into just another ordinary kdrama romance (when they're not even that interesting), as they're now change the focus of the story.
Plus the amount of the nonsensical action just bothers me.
How come Anna had that flashes phobia when she seems to be okay watching a television in the dark? Don't tell me it's not the same as am doing that frequently & I can say it's pretty much the same.When you turned off the lights, your tv screen practically flashing those blinding lights as much as those camera had.

I was doing that but sadly on ep 8 it's almost the entire thing, I was skipping the romantic parts & pretty much had nothing left, lol, am on the fence of dropping this. I was into their politics & action thingy, + SYA's act was the one holding me into it, sadly now they change the focus more on the romance when they're not even that special.
