Good Boy & Our Unwritten Seoul, best combo drama to watch on the weekend ❤️🔥 I always watch OUS then GB back to back & the feeling of watching two great drama couldn't get any better than this 🤌
"I don't know how to be a good mom" *been livin her life without mother's care pov
"But you're once a kid as well, you know what you feel as a kid" *a kid only wish to be acknowledge & care by her mother unconditionally
Me: 😭
Also, when you're arguing with your parent, you're holding back your tears to persist on what you think is right, but then you see your parent cry instead, that instant mix feelings being torn from feeling guilty yet feeling unjustified and want to breakdown right there and then,
This drama brought me all those feels with Miji and mom's argument
True actually, I can see where she's coming from but still, it doesn't make both her & her mom's impulsiveness…
"while I wouldn’t want someone like Mirae in my life, I do appreciate what she brings to the story. Her presence challenges the audience to sit with discomfort and look at the ways emotional dysfunction can be both inherited and internalised" True this, I wholeheartedly agreed
I feel you, i dont enjoy teenage/high school dramas anymore. They be acting like so childish is hard to watch…
Ikr, they're anything but childish, the message, their problem, just because they're in highschool then they shd be classified at childish?, many modern cdrama romcom with adult roles I find childish but not this one even if the leads are highschoolers, they're dealing with pain, hardships, unjustification. 1, 2 silly supporting doesn't represent the whole drama.
IMDb 7.7 🤯Viewer Ratings also 5 to 6 avg Casting good but The lack of story writing Less romance No emtional…
You sound so desperate to belittling it, lol, it'd look more genuine if your profile look credible & doesn't sound this desperate, unfortunately not 😂, so 💁
Mirae is definitely her mothers child in personality. They have that same emotional impulsiveness, the difficulty…
True actually, I can see where she's coming from but still, it doesn't make both her & her mom's impulsiveness to say hurtful words any less frustating coz they can be too ignorant/ self absorbed at times too & Miji has it both coming from both side 🤧
Ep 9: There's not even any dialogues spoken on my screen yet my tears keeps falling, it's so good y'all 😭 I'm mesmerized to see it's been 9ep but they're going even stronger, flame is burning hot❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 I can't wait to see their next ep, Mi Rae Mi Ji, Fighting!!
Ya! Mi Rae, that's some nasty thing you said to Mi Ji, remember she's the one who help you out when you feel suffocated & feel like there's no place to hide! Ik you're frustated with your own cowardice side, but snapping & belittling your twins who only there to help you is not it!
Her mother frustates me, her daughter is having a hard time at school and she's making it evenmore difficult at home , even when she know the truth her first reaction is so defensive for her own good & neglect her daughter's hardship. I love our main's interaction sm, but oh how I foresee their road to be together will be hard and such a long way to go, esp given ML position & this overbearing stucked up FL's mother with communication problem
This exactly, I appreciate the drama to show different kind of ML than what we used to have & with his own flaw/limidity, it'd be boring to have same old same old certain type of ML.
Also DJ might come of as irrational or hot headed but if we're in his position, knowing exactly the person who killed our family but somehow always above the law, I DOUBT people would react calm & collect like they expect DJ to behave. It's easy to adore the SML calmness coz he's not directly affected nor having head to head experience seeing his evilness, like DJ had.
It'd be better if people could open their mind for new kind ML, see his pov and his growth throughout the series instead of expecting a cookie cutter ML & seem to always ready to nitpicking about everything if he doesn't meet their standard. DJ was never meant to be made as our ideal man/ police man, he never was.
This kind of ML also exist in real life, so why not appreciate the drama to show for us to see his POV here instead.
What Zhi Yu has said to her at 4 am was right, I second every words, her game sent chills down to his spine, as…
That's what I'm afraid of as well, I hate it when they do that, it's just so unbalanced & unhealthy but they keep doing that, y tho 😭
Although I'm still trying to be optimist here, since in the novel the ML doesn't seem to be a pushover & pretty direct to the FL on what he like and dislike, he also give the FL a set of boundaries for the FL to follow, like no other ML can come to her apt, etc (now he has more say given they're in relationship). so I hope the FL can commited to that & if not, I hope the ML has the balls to withdraw himself from the relationship & doesn't let the FL affect him too much.
Now am contemplating if I want to continue reading the novel (while trying to separate the FL's image in the novel to the drama) or forget the novel exist & just watch the drama later (I still have around 30 chap remain to read) 😂
What Zhi Yu has said to her at 4 am was right, I second every words, her game sent chills down to his spine, as…
Unfortunately yes, it's refreshing at first seeing the FL keep coming to see him perform despite how broke her wallet, being enchanted by him, but after she got him baited & he lookout for her, idk why she's playing hard to get & at the same enjoying playing with the ML feelings (making him jealous, getting close to other ML etc) & doesn't want to loose to her nonexistent psychological war w/ him that only exist on her mind.
The ML was furious with her game as well but can't help but fall for her and chase her (quite the contrary to hers, ML was really direct & sincere in conveying his feelings). I read until ch 61 something & they got together but imo it's just because the SML left the town as she still playing her game & missing SML presence till last moment (regardless it may not romantic wise), but there's ambiguity there.
I hope the drama rewrite FL character or scrap this love triangle for good coz the trailer look amazing, but I see SML character present even in the drama (Pei Zhen)
Manage to watch it till the end, fiuh! Surprisingly they end it in a good note without rushing it. Unfortunately they spend too much time dealing with ML's father issue that wasn't needed AT ALL, not interested in it by bit & esp not with that horrible acting and 0 writing effort on that aspect, idk what the writer is thinking since the ML has also become too meek & bland for me to care due to that. It feels like the writer has no idea what to write & just wandering around it aimless & repetitively. Not impress with the last twist as well coz I've seen it coming before hand & they came too late.
I took interest in the second couple story but they had less screentime to none, they deserve more & honestly their story has more potential to make the drama more interesting but the writer choose not to (& choose to circling around with that ML's father instead)*rollseyes
At the end, I stay firm say Seon Hwa is a horrible friend/family to Hyeon Ju & HJ deserve to be treated better.
This drama introduce me to SML's actor good acting though, I like his acting here (& his character too), look forward to see future work from him (hopefully a main one)
oh I was watching those two up to this week but I think to enjoy them all I will pause those 2 and just concentrate…
Oh actually I was about to start it until I heard it's about ca, I'm okay with terminal illness plot except that coz ik it'll instantly give me an instant flashback to all the endless hospital visit dealing with chemo, sickness from ca & all so guess I'll forget this drama exist until very much later
This is a cycle. Seon Hwa is mistreated by her mother in law for "not being enough" for her son. Now SH is doing…
For real, that too! I feel dissapointed with Geom Ju's first reaction & even Seon Uk, to side with Seon Hwa. (Seon Uk-ya, am sorry ik you're trap in between but if you want to keep Seon Hwa family who is Hyeon Ju's, you need to ask Seon Hwa to act like one first, not demanding HJ for it)
I think her parents reaction will be her last straw, if they side with Seon Hwa too it'll take a toll on Hyeon Ju as it"ll be a huge blow for her, how they all see her as a divorcee before a human being. My poor Hyeon Ju might hv lost it then.
She doesn't deserve that kind of treatment & if I were her I'd take my kids and leave the town and never look back, I don't need a friend or family who treat me like their worst enemy/constantly looked down on me.
But what even sadder is, with HJ's situation rn, I don't think she has any leverage to do any of that TT
