Reread my 1st reply then debunk which part of the ending you find it's thoughtless? Or care to elaborate more why you find its ending thoughtless?, coz I clearly pointout how and why the ending isn't thoughtless at all. If they're thoughtless then it wouldn't send many beautiful message, if they're thoughtless then they wouldn't clearly insert many symbolism/details for the drama ending throughout the drama, etc. No one trying to argue with you, you post on public & I just reply at things doesn't make anysense to me.

Idk but I think the production team want to highlight the beautiful message, that what they have goes beyond kissing/ deeper value, they don't want the audience to focus more on the skinship hence they make it like that

The whole drama is Ziqi's love letter to Miaomiao, I don't think they can be anymore romantic than they already are 🥹❤️🫶
The chemistry, the loving gesture, the beautiful messages they relied is more than enough to make up the lack of kiss scenes coz what they have is far more precious than just physical attraction but more deep down in core substance.

I only point out why the drama's ending is no where near thoughtless like you said, I don't get why it's taken as condescending to you when am only speaking the truth. My point is people can crave for more scene of the leads being together or more romance etc but it doesn't mean the drama is thoughtless coz if people watching the drama it's actually the opposite of it.

They clearly the opposite of being thoughtless though, the ending is actually the most thoughtful & tight ending any transmigration drama ever made when real world and novel/game world interwoven together, where the real world is actually the core essence of the novel world, every aspect in the novel world represent ML's real life issue & experience, they even convey such a meaningful, beautiful message for one's self discovery & acceptance, am wondering if we even watch the same drama😂

When real world and novel/game world interwoven together, every moment in the novel world represent fragments of real life issue, experience & their own demon in the real world, this is such a well crafted, thoughtful drama with beautiful message to tell, a meaningful drama that goes beyond what I expect from a light romcom, they gave me so much more & at this rate I don't really care if they ever kiss or not coz the chemistry & beautiful message is more than enough to make up for it, in fact it makes me feel ashamed to have asked for more.

The show has more depth with beautiful meaning & self discovery more than most adults drama to me, you need to watch more ep to understand & not let that prejudice/ the surface fools you, the drama might be light but hv beautiful message to tell, even way mature than many mature drama I've watched
