Thank you for taking the time to read my review and for your comment! I agree with several points you said. With…
at 8 years old lee kang is incredibly impressionable. he's still grieving the loss of his parents and unable to connect with any of the adults. then comes mun-oh, who appears to care and is able to gently get kang to open up about his pain. anyone that can do that instantly earns a massive amount of trust, and kang was looking forward to further this first new bond since losing his parents. then he finds out that mun-oh didn't actually care and was only using him for his writing. the first person he trusts becomes his first betrayal. if kang was an adult with more life experience, maybe he wouldn't hold onto this for so long, but he's not. this hatred ends up fueling him for the next 12 years, ultimately getting him into an elite university. so i think his motivations might seem weak for an adult, but they definitely aren't for a grieving 8 year old kid
it's highly unlikely to be in july. we don't know how far along they're into filming but we would definitely know when it's finished. i would guess September is the most likely, if we're lucky *maybe* august
the first trailers for the water and the air dropped when there were about 2 eps left in the earth and the water respectively, so if they stick to the same schedule then the first trailer for the fire should drop in a week or so
chae-ni already said it, what grandma did was unforgivable but that didn't mean she couldn't or shouldn't still…
the problem is those people then. it's not like the characters themselves are defending the grandma's actions, and chae-ni forgave un-jeong even before she found out why he betrayed her
I think we don’t talk enough about how unforgivable the grandma actually is. Sure, maybe she didn’t know the…
chae-ni already said it, what grandma did was unforgivable but that didn't mean she couldn't or shouldn't still work hard every day on the long road towards redemption. at least she actually feels sorry for what she did unlike the doctor
the bar is low when it comes to ch3 dramas. but among ch3 GLs (the secret of us, only you, my safe zone, play park, fulfill) i would say this is at least 2nd best, i don't remember enough of the secret of us to really compare. the story isn't great but still significantly better than only you/my safe zone/play park. it might be full of the regular tropes but at least it's coherent storytelling and it's not boring. oombam have both good chemistry and good acting, not all ch3 couples have both. honestly oombam might be my favorite ch3 ship
yeah . I think you need to step back until show is finished because the back and forth is wild . And also the…
while i agree that too many GLs have men interfering, i also prefer to see a man be the villain. it sucks to see women tear each other down and it's much easier to hate a man
I'm also concerned because the same happened with Harmony Secret. I think it was around 30 days from first day…
among the many problems i had with harmony secret, i don't think pacing was one of them. but we'll see with this, it's an entirely different vibe + genre from affair and harmony secret, maybe it'll be much better this time
omg so that preview… DPMO, i’d be lying if i said i don’t understand why rose wants them to be separated…
rose had to go to bangkok to care for her dad while he recovers, so they had to spend some time apart. i guess rose wanted to use this time apart for both of them to reflect on their relationship. honestly, din forgiving kaew so easily is a red flag and should be addressed
barely anyone's watching it. it's not a well known studio, idk how well known the leads are (i know they're former idols), this is their first drama together, and marketing was very limited. the earth also has a first time couple but because north star has made a name for itself with poisonous love and the connections with the 4 elements, that has gotten the most attention of all the GLs airing right now. that said, i think heart code is comfortably sitting right below the earth in terms of how much people are talking about it. and of course this is all before girl rules starts and takes over everything
sun is an adult at present, a 10 year age gap is fine. as long as they don't say that flint had feelings for a high schooler, then that would be problematic
I keep reading about this "delaying" but what proof do people have about it?I mean, looking at other series,…
it's a delay if they had planned to release by a certain date and failed to meet it. if they had planned for march 2026 then it's not a delay, just a very, very, very slow process
The trailer is definitely coming this week or the next whjch definitely means the series will not air until March.…
only friends took the friday slot so girl rules could take saturday. the 4 elements are gonna be airing back to back to back to back, which means it won't finish until around September. i think gmmtv has enough trust in their biggest couples to make girl rules succeed to allow it to compete with the water instead of giving it a crappy weekday slot
