I don't know about that!Is it harsh to expect the drama to stick to the premise it promised? this could have been…
I think everyone needs to check their math on how much of this focused on the succession story. Mostly that was used to advance the romance and create a mystery that connected the leads in their past via A GHOST.

I have no problem with body swaps but are we not concerned that a brother and sister are swapping bodies like is that not a little… eww…?

I feel like people complaining about the pace haven't watched past episode 3. Did it take its time establishing the new characters? Yes. But that's why episodes 4-8 have the emotional weight and impact that they do. This was a solid second season. One the best I've seen.

Title The Husband
Far too much of this didn't make sense. Just no consideration for logic or - like - how things work in reality. But conceptually I like the idea that "The Husband" wasn't really our ML. The villains were the most interesting aspect of this.

You don't need capitalist propaganda in capitalist countries since that is just normal in those places ...
Except Korea is kind of known for anti-capitalist media. This tv show was the anti-Parasite. The anti-Squid Game.

Two things... (Cos I just started binging this) It was so inappropriate for his ex-wife to ask him to meet with…
Interesting. I thought it was weird he even considered turning his ex-wife down. It seemed like a simple ask, especially for someone who used to be family who you parted with somewhat amicably. I thought it was weird FL was upset about it AT ALL especially because his ex is a) her friend and b) remarried.

Disagree. He first gained attention for his *fantastic* romance in Search WWW. Still one of his best romantic roles.

Title Dream to You
Love a second chance romance. Love a simultaneous past and present storyline. Love when the two timelines reflect upon each other in thematically interesting ways. I think it's the sort of storytelling kdramas do best. So I'm hyped for this. And I couldn't care less that actors over 30 are playing the teenage versions of thier characters. Like why let that bother you? Let it goooo.

Victim of his own success. But tbh this drama is meh, even by rom com standards. It isn't garbage, but very forgettable.
I don't think it's a romcom at all. It's a very well done fish-out-of-water, small town healing romance.

AOS was the worst thing that ever happened to LJW. His "fans" can't rock with character driven dramas and that's the bulk of what he does.

Well, it was marketed as medical rom-com so i guess marketing too had the same misunderstanding.
I don’t really think it was. It was marketed as a surgeon in the military being sent to a small, isolated island and struggling with the setting. Fish out of water was the conflict. Not complicated or exciting medical cases.

After reading the comments I realized I made the best choice by dropping it after the 8th episode. I really wanted…
Couldn’t disagree more. Last Summer, Dear Hong Rang, and Doctor on the Edge were all better written than AOS. People just have no patience for character driven dramas.

I think most people are misunderstanding what this show is. It’s not a medical drama, it’s not a romcom. It’s a small town healing romance and in that regard it succeeded beautifully.

Only a male screenwriter could write a screenplay where women get down on their knees during a breakup. Very bad…
ya'll are really averse to character arcs, huh? you want everyone to start off completely perfect with nowhere to go?

Pretty sure lots of people said something. In fact, anyone decent said something. Just like I am now saying something to you about you doing it.
