They both are fine (I favor Tan Jianci), but he would have height problems with Dilraba.
Also, personally I don't think Cheng Yi's facial features are usually attractive. 🤪

Leo Wu was transitioning into a more mature look during that time. He would probably look just fine if they were together! Besides, some people only think that because there was a concerted effort to sabotage them as leads and as a couple, especially poor Dilireba, in favor of a certain "Green Tea".

I really don't want it to be choppy or poorly done either. However, I would love to see Dilraba interacting with all those guys! I read a rumor a few weeks ago, that said, originally they were going to have 70 episodes but they were going to have to cut it down to 40. It basically said that they were having a hard time doing it as well. I don't know if this is true though.
