?? Am I the only one who think he's more attractive with the beards haha, I used to think he looks too boyish…
Oh Deng Wei definitely looks attractive with the beard! π It just doesn't quite fit this character of his from the original anime etc. The beard adds a scholarly/intelligent, wild and "manly" feel from him; whereas his character is supposed to be very intelligent and scheming, kind of crazy/sociopathic, seductive, definitely a "pretty boy", and a good fighter etc....
Two thing can be possible. The beard look can be for his another identity which is for a short time or it can be…
I hope it is part of a disguise, but is he in the same outfit? Also, because Deng Wei got so much attention from this look; did they give him the beard because they were afraid that he may "upstage" the main lead??π€ I hope that is not the reason.
I would even like to see this styling and beard on him in another drama, but not for this character...at least not for the majority of the drama.
Why are they adding beard to DW, he looks old with it. Still good looking but so uncle.
I'm older, so I am perfectly fine with Deng Wei looking a little more mature, but it just doesn't fit his character, from the original version . He is supposed to be very much a "pretty boy".
Is this the first liner that yu zheng was talking abt? Well ig wu jinyan is not bad but the ml? Never knew he…
He was the 2nd Male lead in 2 of Bai Lu's dramas (they are from the same company and friends). One of them should be airing fairly soon. He is also leading a drama with Zhou Ye and another one that's in the 20's-40's(?) (Shadow Dective).
He is handsome, and even though he is quite young, he is talented and has a lot of potential if he develops well. In my opinion, he is or could be one of the best new Chinese actors. His gravitas in Historical costumes is amazing....and I am saying this after only watching a few episodes of a drama of his with Bai Lu and looking at pictures. Haha.π
I saw the popular edits of Li Yunrui and Li Yitong as well. After seeing LLTG, I think he fits Deng Ying very…
Yes!! The same for me as well. I haven't read the book, but from what I have "heard", it really feels like he would fit Deng Yi's Scolarly, contemplative, long suffering and yearning sides to him. Plus Li Yitong is an amazing, heartbreaking crier, who really makes you feel as if the pain and situation is real. She seems so delicate, and graceful, but she can have an inner strength to her as well. Not to mention that their faces and features really complement each other visually. Sorry. I got carried away. π€ͺ
