Yes!! The same for me as well. I haven't read the book, but from what I have "heard", it really feels like he would fit Deng Yi's Scolarly, contemplative, long suffering and yearning sides to him. Plus Li Yitong is an amazing, heartbreaking crier, who really makes you feel as if the pain and situation is real. She seems so delicate, and graceful, but she can have an inner strength
to her as well. Not to mention that their faces and features really complement each other visually. Sorry. I got carried away. 🤪
