Just watched the first 3 episodes and so far, I am enjoying this drama! I just don't care for the dubbed voice of the main female lead too much. It is a bit too "cutesy" for my nerves at times, fortunately, it isn't as bad as some.🤪😁
She is rumored to be in a drama called "Threshold" or "Thrush." The main male lead is rumored to be Liu Xueyi. There is a nurse and an Engineer (?) & a possible spy, set in the 60s(?).
They are supposed to start filming at the end of this month (March).
Dang, I don't like how they do this so often. Cancel culture...I definitely could better understand if he was a r@pist or something, (I wouldn't want to watch that person,) but ...?

It did struck a nerve for me. I just wanted people to be a little more fair to the male leads and to other people's opinions. I understand that the first person who commented probably didn't really mean much harm. It seemed to be a bit more of a casual entitled and assuming thing. We can't be perfect all the time..😉

I don't think you read all of my comments. People were upset with me supporting the male leads, or in actually stating that I was going to check out this drama, and Not for Yang Zi, as if that was unfathomable (at first).
What do you mean by what "we're all talking about", there are only a few of you. Infact, there were some that agreed with me as well.
It was implied in the first comment, that because SHE hadn't heard about these actors, that they were "obviously unknowns"🙄 and that their acting and "worthiness" were dubious.
"Hard carrying" does mean More than just having the most attention or "face" to a organization, or drama, etc sometimes. It is also in the quality, and in the "doing"/ work/acting, even behind the scenes, (like a supporting beam of a building), or a family member "picking up the slack" out of necessity etc.

I understand where you are coming from. Yang Zi is well known, and so yes, she is without a doubt, bringing in the most "investment" & "traffic". But saying or implying that she is "hard carrying" this drama, (especially in terms of acting,) and that the male leads are all "unknowns" is simply NOT true. Most, if not all three of these male leads are usually either recognized for their acting ability, or appeal and charisma, and may be soon, some of the most popular or recognized raising male actors. They will be bringing in some of their own "traffic" and abilities to this drama, especially combined. But Each one has special, and attractive qualities and plenty of potential....(from what little I personally saw of them 😅).
