You are right, if that is the case. It is just sometimes the character or story development gets messed up and I am also concerned that they will cut out more scenes of Zhu Zhengting and Peng Xiaoran together.

Lots of people "ship" Yang Zi and Xiao Zhan together, and that is fine, ( as long as they don't try to make it where he can't be paired with anyone else, or your not "allowed" to Not ship them).
They were in a drama already together recently, so why can't he act with some other actresses too?
I admit that I did comment rather strongly, before on here, because I felt people were being too "pushy " (trying to tell me what to do) or being "double standard " with supporting Xiao Zhan "being" with Yang Zi , but often attacking or not "allowing" or supporting him possibly being paired with other actresses. There are 2-3 other actresses I have been waiting years for him to be paired with as a couple, ( & sometimes they get quite a lot of opposition )and so I responded particularly strongly. I am trying to improve on how I respond to people on MDL in general now, though.

There is a lot more "working" behind the scenes, than just her "talent". And ANYONE can question ANY actor's/actress's acting ability. You really didn't understand my comment at all did you? How is it fair or ONLY "allowed" to praise Yang Zi, but it is alright to put down the male leads by saying she will be the one "carrying" this drama and "they are unknowns", and that be okay? It takes a lot more than one person to make a drama work. It is obviously fine if you are a fan of Yang Zi, but just because someone is famous, doesn't mean that everyone will like them, or that they can't be "questioned". I know it can be a bit of a shock when you're not use to it though..
Some people will be watching or checking out this drama for the male leads. Just because someone hasn't heard about these actors, doesn't completely make them "unknowns". "BRO"..😉
