A kdrama that created a space for it deep within my heart <3

I usually love childhood love troupe (also Second Chances) so this was exactly my cup of tea. And usually due to that same high expectations I usually get disappointed by this same troupe as it fails to be portrayed so well. But this?? OH WOW. It was beautiful. Powerful, healing and just.. soothing.

It felt like I watched a soothing landscape for 16 hours (oh yes Jeju!) I'm a very rare review writer so this one did impact me to write one. The story somehow healed a part of me!

(SPOILERS BELOW!!)

Story: 10/10

As I mentioned it might be my personal opinion but I am a sucker for childhood love troupe. And second chances! This kdrama grabbed my attention from both the aspects! This kdrama is actually the perfect example of two people destined to love each other despites all odds! Their story of healing, finding themselves in this busy world of rat race, the rawness and lastly never giving up on each other captured my attention and heart both! I loved the way side characters were significant in the story rather than just being fillers. Their stories had importance. Overall I loved the pacing, it was slow and refreshing. I m a slow burn romance preferring person so that worked for me. The unfurling of their feelings for a second time that they tried to bury for 8 years had the best pacing. The past unfurling was also at the right moment and at no point I was ever bored. I loved the humor. Especially the friends group! Small things they did were so wholesome that I went emotional all the time. It was so pure and beautiful. It had a good take in this kdrama and I enjoyed them so much!! I liked Sam Dal's family a lot as well! Overall definitely deserves a 10.

Characters and Actors: 10/10

I love Ji Chang Wook and it was refreshing to watch his character. It felt like he was way too natural for this role! he nailed it. I could actually see how naturally his character loved Sam Dal unconditionally. Same goes for Shin Hye Sun. I just adored her and her character. Usually I find male characters doing more than females and that their character only revolves around the male leads. Hers was different and had an unique take. I can't appreciate it enough. Their love story was so natural that it just healed something in me. I loved them throughout the whole time. I get it that Yong Pil took care of her deeply but at the same time he has his own individual personality, his likes and dislikes. Same went for Sam Dal. She was so raw, real and relatable as well. Shin Hye Sun nailed her role!

I loved the side characters! They were so adorable and had a meaningful presence. Each had their own role to fulfill and all seemed to nail their roles as well! It was refreshing to watch. I could not bring myself to dislike Yong Pil's father because it was his grief that held him back. I wouldn't justify the behavior but I couldn't dislike him either. Just like that I couldn't bring to dislike anyone (except for Jin Dal's in laws, they were annoying)

Music: 10/10

Music is something I particularly notice a lot in any drama so this one had amazing OSTs. They were so beautiful and refreshing to listen to!

Rewatch value: 10/10

It is obvious why it would have a 10/10 rewatch value. It was so refreshing to watch that for hours you can just forget about your real world and jump into the world of Sam Dal and Yong Pil, their story in Jeju hehe. It was refreshing experience so I would definitely rewatch whenever I need a recharge in life haha!

So yea here is an another review by me. Overall 10/10 recommendation if you love healing kdramas with second chances, top tier cast and romance hehe! (sorry if my review looks a bit shabby as I am not that used to writing them!)

Thank you. Happy reading and hope you have a great day ahead! :)

An enthralling drama <3

To be honest I picked up this drama because of Kim Da Mi and Choi Woo Shik, a pair I never knew I needed to ship! As I watched the drama I realised how much intriguing their character's life was for me and I wanted to find out the reasons behind their choices.

Story- 10/10
High school sweethearts meeting again to film a documentary again as the previous one went viral. So raw and pure. I loved that. I am really addicted to the concepts of second chances and I was lured into due to that haha! I had to give it A 10. I was so much invested in this plot and till the end it didn't disappoint me. It was magical. Every character had their own stories to tell and I was very happy to hear that from each of them. The story was realistic and I could empathize with their feelings when they felt happy, sad or mad. It was all so beautifully portrayed! I truly adored it.

Cast- 10/10
I have seen Kim da Mi in Itaewon so I was actually excited to watch her in this. Now I don't think I can see anyone else doing the role of Yeon Soo as better as her. Same goes for Choi Woo Shik (irresistible Choi Woong) . I haven't seen his any other drama yet but now I will surely add his drama in my watchlist! He was adorable but the most important aspect of his character was neatly portrayed. Not going to ignore Kim Sung Chul (our lovely Ji woong) and Roh Jeong Eui ( our sweet NJ) since their stories were equally and beautifully portrayed through the plot, making us love them much more by the end of the drama. I liked how all supporting characters were given equally screen time for their stories to be narrated in front of audience. I personally could relate to Yeon Soo and felt her emotion through. It was endearing to see such a great cast.

Music -10/10
Okay so I had already decided to give music section a 10 right after I heard the intro song "Our beloved summer" by Kim Kyung Hee. That's how captivating it was! The music was beyond my expectations and I love all the soundtracks played. They were played accurately when it was necessary. It was not excessive nor too less. Since I love music personally I adored all the songs.

Rewatch Value -10/10
Let me tell you the reason. It is simple. This k-drama has that power to make you rewatch it again and again. I am not a fan of rewatching kdramas or literally anything but I feel I can rewatch this drama easily. I loved it that much that I would love to go through the same feelings and venture through the story of Yeon Soo and Choi Woong again and again. They have that effect on me. Maybe it is because of the plot, realistic yet beautiful. The messages in this kdrama were actually valuable. Besides, who would not want to watch two people who were once in love, meet again in different circumstances and understand the reasons behind their fallout in the first place?

Overall- 10/10
I would recommend this for people who like to view a realistic approach of the feelings one have for another one. I could feel the rawness and pureness of the characters and so people who seem to like that touch to a drama may enjoy it! And also who enjoys stories of second leads and side couples. I surely did love them. This drama made me feel emotions. It was relatable and touching for me.

Ps: this is my second review I have ever given and I might make corrections as times passes by (Sorry if I made any mistakes). Till then happy watching :) <3

First BL drama ever watched!!

This is my first review for a drama which has touched my heart. I started watching it coincidentally on Friday when the 8th ep was released. I didn't think it would be that good but I underestimated it. I was so into the drama that I watched the 8 episodes in one go and started to fangirl the main couple. Over all I really enjoyed it till end. The plot never made me feel bore or unenthusiastic which was the main reason which makes you watch it. You won't get bored till the end. It will make you sad, happy, angry and mad. This drama made me go through all these emotions and I am so glad I watched it. I would recommend this for BL genres lovers (ofcourse) and those who like romcom and drama (that is present in all drama) and those who love music as well. Last but not the least, this drama has taught me alot and I wish to see Bright and Win together again. ^-^
