Finished drama really enjoyed..it wasn’t a perfect drama but was attractive to watch ..Great cast..

I don’t find the relationship toxic ..or sexual harassment ..it was obvious two people ..one beautiful the other handsome was attracted to each other ..Flora was awake when she decided to stay and Luke asked her “are you clear you know what will happen next” ..she initiated the kiss and bed ..so sure they had sex but she wasn’t using her body to seduce him to go up in position at company…the company didn’t allow relationships especially between director and subordinate so yes they had to keep it secret…

All the way beginning the first thing they introduced Luke as a bad mouth..which he got from his Dad… as brainless his words come out when he was jealous he wasn’t hesitant to apologize to her and admit wrong..

I thought Flora was strong person ..I admired her working hard and wanted to go up position through her own efforts and not through him… but her insecurities placed a wall between them..I really thought he treated her as girlfriend before she thought of him as boyfriend…even after the situation with the rental agency Luke took her to the mountain bar and asked her to include him in anything in her life . He was sweet caring…so as bad mouth as he was when it came important times he was there for her. Yet time and time again especially like the sexual harassment case she didn’t include him …she didn’t tell him about the dating app (which showed his insecurities thinking she was trying to find another boyfriend while keeping him like a two timer .. so again his bad mouth) ..and heck he promised her he will try not misunderstand between her and her friend that suicide…and yet again she didn’t tell him about the suicides

And he didn’t tell her about the promotion issue

Both had serious communication issues and insecurities …but I didn’t find their relationship toxic or dirty..

The drama was shortened to be repetitive with several breakups (like the time she misunderstood him going to Switzerlnd with his female friend) or the time she asked about her list to get married etc..that makeup part in Tibet was sweet…yet the next chapter it’s ten months later and again they get into argument and into the major breakup where she leaves …

Hence i thought the last few chapters were too rushed and I really thought that Flora museum was kind of cheesy…should have more scenes with them talking out communicating why they had so many misunderstands through the years .

So are those bts and interactions staged acted out also?

Zhanglinghe has improved significantly since my journey to you ..I didn’t find him handsome or his acting good either in that drama…he is stunning in this drama visually .thanks to director…

He has had several drama since my journey and has improved acting and visuals with each drama. Although I think the female lead is the spotlight in this drama ..

Rewatching .:.just understood why they had first argument …that he was thinking if he left there would be a chance she find another man ..and then she packs all his stuff and prepare divorce decree…that’s when he asks her what she plan to do afterwards..get married again etc…. She answered just need to live life ..and he interprets her divorce preparation and willing to remarry that she doesn’t care about him as he does for her ..

When I first saw this scene I was wondering what his issue is ..then I realized he was afraid she would really find someone else ..so he asks if she can wait for him one year ..yet he did it after mistakenly bad additude and forceful kiss ..so her response was no ..

Finally got that scene ..

Boy ..based on what said WeiYan really wasn’t that evil like the Sui brothers killing innocent people Lian village . It wasn’t weiyan’s fault that the prince Changxlin Lied about the tiger thing was fake and didn’t want help. But it’s weiyan’s fault for allowing his subordinate (CY’s dad) to take blame?

And why did CY’s parents need suicide ? he really thought if he suicide it save his two daughters? After he died Weiyan still sent people to kill the daughters or just get letter?

I really did not thing the drama tied together your explanations well. Too choppy last ten chapters seem to focus on romance or the silliness of how the female lead didn’t respect rules or knew how to study…

And I really didn’t think it made sense one moment the male lead is drunk and kissy then next scene oth of them go to emporer and killed the eunuch then next scene he is in horse carriage all he wants is kiss kiss kiss and the bathtub ..assume they conssumated their marriage that night…..the romance is lovely just the timeline didn’t make sense to me

Weiyan and his lover …the prince and Weiyan and grand tutor having dinner and Weiyan said something that later caused him to rebel? why did who start the fire…I was confused about plot…the bad general CY KILLED didn’t want to bring army to help ..so how did CY dad got the blame…

In episode 1 when male lead was buried n snow when she was wiping snow off him her hair stick fell onto his hand …

She was thinking of not saving him..but decided to continue..when she came back to continue to save him to wipe snow ofhim ..she found her hair stick by his hand…(I think hand)
…thinking that it was fate that her mother in heaven confirming she should save him

Actually I didn’t skip but I don’t understand the plot either…and I watched the whole drama ..many creams shows with beautiful aesthetics focus on h to e beauty of the leads ..and their kissing romance ..which is nice but then they cut the plot to flow properly ..
