I'm writing this from episode 23: The Crown Prince is already worrying about how he can help his wife even after…
How is that unconvincing? He is a "terminally ill" man whose only goal in life was to find out who poisoned him; he falls head over heels for her, yet he knows that no matter how much he loves her or wants to live, the fact remains that the poison is snuffing out his life and there is no cure. He knows that being with him would leave her in a dangerous position after he dies, even if she is just as intelligent as he is, that doesn't ease the anxiety of knowing that many would come after her or her family, the natural thought for someone who isn't dying but loves a person in constant danger is, "I will protect her by any means necessary for the rest of our lives"; yet, knowing he is going to die and can only protect her for one more year, his only thought is, "I must leave the greatest possible protection for her for when I am no longer alive." That isn't the perfect man; that is a man madly in love.
Him being rough, aggressive, and disrespectful, and forcing himself on her, how is that chemistry? It would be…
I get what you're saying, im not against him its just that for me he was out of the race from the very first episode back when he forced himself on her. Just imagine someone you aren't attracted to at all neither their personality nor their looks forcing themselves on you; no matter how handsome or beautiful they might be... I understand that some women have aggressive fantasies, its cool, i like those dramas 2, but it's hard for me to view it that way when there's absolutely no attraction involved, u know what that would be in real life, True, she isn't in love with XHY at episode 7, it is one sided, but she has far more in common with him than with anyone else, personality, interests, goals. And even though she isn't in love with him, he’s the only one who makes an impression on her, the things he says and the fact that she can't quite figure him out spark her curiosity and awaken her interest in a way no one else manages to do, im not there yet, but i want to see badly when their real personalities interact with each other.
if you truly loved someone, you wouldn't insist on marrying them when you know you only have about a year left…
That is precisely why he rejected her; however, he changed his mind when he realized she didn't love him and was only marrying him because he had little time left to live, a situation that suited her plans. That, combined with the fear of what might happen to her after she fell off the cliff, led to his change of heart.
I am still in ep7 but is it safe to say FL has more chemistry with Prince Lei than ML untill now ?? ... i usually…
Him being rough, aggressive, and disrespectful, and forcing himself on her, how is that chemistry? It would be one thing if she felt some attraction, but I find it hard to see any chemistry when there’s no attraction on one side. Well, I guess it just goes to show that everyone has their own tastes.
I really liked the drama till episode 10, From that point on, I would only recommend it to an enemy, and solely for the cast. What a disappointment of a female lead! in Episode 30 tricking the second male lead only to go back, get captured, and get drained was the peak of stupidity.
Currently at episode 18, to be honest i was enjoying this drama a lot, but this stalker arc has gone on too long. Honestly, I'm getting a little tired of the way he keeps begging. It's not that it's wrong—he did make a mistake—but they haven't been creative enough to write it in a way that doesn't get tiresome.
It was a good drama, good cinematography, excelent cast, good chemestry beetween the leads, the only thing i didnt like it, was that LJL, becomes useless after falling in love, he loses his cunning act and even thought he is clever, he is always being used by RSB, the ML didnt actually resolve any of the problems after losing his memory, it was always the FL (RSB), in the last arc he was always deceive, didnt catch anything important, any leads, nothing, he was a toy husband 😭
