I dropped it when I felt it ws absurdity ep per ep it was ok intially as i never watched PA but after 30 eps only realized they cooked up shit as they went on for drama purpose , heard the novel is good
Am going to avoid this director and his team from now , this guy ruined the double drama too

This was very good

Save urself sometime and sanity and move on to a feel good drama or ones wth better direction n stort
Many ppl dropped it and many ppl who watched it till the end are disappointed and some ppl even interpret the ending so they wont feel bad abt it,
from start to end this drama is a disaster i wasted 33 episodes on this and dropped and came to chk what was thr ending and am glad i dropped it sooner

Somone mentioned not hapy ending leads die n they show how they could hv lived if they hvent died in the villains imagination

Someons wrote here that both ml n fl die only the villain lives till old age thinking of the leads

I dropped too, seeing how it ended you can just ignore that you spent 21 eps on it n move on to better ones

All die ,no happy endings and just some imagination by one survivor as per some comment here, thankfully i dropped this bs drama a little early

She did it with the other character Li ce too

Apparently she loves yan xun he is family, loved li ce enough to adopt his kid and become empress dowager to save his kingdom and also zhuge yue as he is totally commted to her and always come when time iof distress and shares her wish of freeing slaves
AS per her own statement i dont think she can get away from
Yan unless he is dead , also She is goin to continue to prioritize her wish against anythin caller love from whatever happened so far
At this point what women empowering every other episode one or the other women is humilated groped and killed and FL i dont think she can ever come out of the slave trauma or the things she experienced with Yan i feel thats what the writers want to convey with her scenes and spending time with Yan even though by name she is Queen of Ximeng

30 31 total let down by the FL ,i can understand why someone mentioned here in comments that she doesnt have that unconditional love n understanding that ML has for her, Her actions show how she takes it for granted i think what she has for Yan is love that she cant shake forever
Scenes like the ones in 30 and 31 highlights the actresses inexperience in showing her emotions we dont know what she really thinks allowing the guy to hug and spend time horse riding and reminiscing things with him and saying that yan and him are family etc etc
Even as a viewer who havent watched original PA, i am so disppponited in the way story is told and the annoying characters like Chuner existing for several episodes with no reason
This drama deserves even lower rating than the current one and i can understand why many ppl are disappointed
