They had their first kiss ep 10, no words of affirmation for their love but from actions. There was a misunderstanding but it was cleared within two eps. From what I know even the novel is about politics and romance was sprinkled just here and there only

I’m scared for The Doll Game. Apparently it’s only 24 episodes too. I think Youku is really cracking down onto 24 episodes a drama. I remember a year or two ago there was talks buzzing around that Youku and I think Tencent were gonna cut down episodes for their dramas
