I Swear I've Seen this Tree Before/ If Plan A Doesn't Work There are 25 Other Letters in the Alphabet
“How many days do we have until the war?” “Three to five days.” “That’s enough.” (my eyes bugging out of my head)
What the heck has she been putting in his medicine!??!?!
What can she do with an elixir? A mind-meld (like from the book)? Access Thousand Dreamland? Give him access to her memories and thoughts stored in the heart-hiding hairpin? Store his thoughts and memories there? Increase the probability of lightning hitting them for a body switch? Plant dreams in his subconscious? A minor protective enchantment? (God what is she doing? I need to know!)
Again, it is her pattern of conflict resolution when she is backed up against a wall. He knows the medicine has something in it, he doesn’t know the exact purpose and has been drinking this medicine all week with absolute trust and just a “What is she up to?” face (Which by the way I find sexy beyond expression)
We said it this morning and I will say it again. He looks good choking his brother. How does this man make things I am not morally okay with sexy, upright, valorous and upon occasion even sweet?
- I choke people for you. -
I love how DFQC didn’t become “good” and stayed a villain that loved her.
I know he is supposed to be the most powerful being in all 3 Realms, but dang. 3k dead souls? The Bone Spike treatment? 3 days in Fuju Cave Sarcophagus via the Heart Curse? Yeah, sure tell me again the theory that his Hellfire is diminished because of a Love Tree, not because of what he has been through in the past 3 or 4 days? Riiiiight?
I really want them to cuddle in bed once please make it happen drama gods :(
I am still waiting for the cuddling boat ride we keep getting teased with in the opening art sequence. They have had three boat rides together thus far. Where are my cuddles!

A hero’s honour outstrips all other vices, virtues, foibles and shibboleths. A villain's conviction outstrips all other vices, virtues, foibles and shibboleths.
