I'm glad he chose his own happiness and retired before he became another statistic. If he'd died, people would be here saying he should have quit if he was unhappy. Come back when you're good.πππ
Is resa007 Kris Wu's account? it keeps donating flowers. I mean, they can use the internet in prison, plus Chinese prisons allow online payments, so...π€£
This drama has been an amazing journey... an emotionally exhausting journey, yes, but an amazing one. It's funny…
Most of the women in this drama were on something, but the MOMS!!! WOW!!!
Ling Xiao's mom takes the cake and Qi Ming Yue's mom takes the cupcake...the thing is, Qi Ming Yue's mom was just overbearing, but Ling Xiao's mom was just plain evil.
When I saw that they wanted a redemption arc for Zi Qiu's mom I was like HELL NO, but then I found out about the whole prison thing and the flashbacks of how hard she worked but was still a victim of circumstance, she was redeemed in my eyes.
This drama has been an amazing journey... an emotionally exhausting journey, yes, but an amazing one. It's funny how in real life the youngest of the three is the oldest, the youngest older brother is the oldest of the brothers in real life, and the oldest older brother is the youngest person.

It is amazing to see the upward trajectory of his acting career. Wang Xing Yue, please pay your taxes and avoid career-ending scandals, because I'd like to see you bigger and better in 5 years.
My expectations were way too high, but I loved "almost" every minute of it (I'm biased). The last 3 episodes were either filler, set up for season 3 or both. And with the way it ended, I can wait years for season 3.
"Blossom in Adversity, aptly named. Let it cook for about 6 episodes or so and you won't be disappointed. Jing Yi is one of my newer favourite actresses, she is a talented lady and she chooses good roles for herself. But the one who surprised me the most was Lu Yu Xiao, she was great.

I came here to see if it was an MDL remake with a bigger budget after seeing the trailer.

It's still a no, but I recently watched him on "A Killer Paradox", probably wrote a thirsty comment there knowing myself.
The vision was there, just not fully realised, but still entertaining.
But he did grow on me on the second half of the drama though, not gonna lie.
