I almost dropped this one, in fact I dropped it several times before I became a fan of Bai Lu...but now I love her so I soldier on, just like I do for Dilraba. Leo was amazing, and his chemistry with Bai Lu was amazing to watch too.
Himbo Perth is the best... acting school is doing Perth good honestly. Chimon seemed less comfortable in his role than Perth at first, but got better as the drama progressed. πΈ
I liked both conclusions to the relationships...I wasn't expecting much going into this and didn't get much, so I wasn't disappointed. Gym's runny nose in every cry scene threw me off a little I won't lie. I can take one runny nose per season and that's it.
I watched a kdrama a while back about a girl who could see ghosts and helped them crossover (forgot the title) but I remember commenting something about wishing they gave more details about the victims, someone replied saying I should watch this, took almost 2 years but I finally did. Thank you.πΈ
Park Hoon channelled Johnny Depp with his Ha Dae Soo character. Lol.
20 mins, 10 episodes, but still fell asleep over 4 times, skipped some parts, and still took about 2 weeks to finish, felt nothing during and after... make of that what you will.
I loved it, I really loved it, the depth they gave to the characters was so good and the layers... wow. πΈπΈπΈ One episode I'd hate a character and the next I'd feel sorry for them, I'm glad they showed "origin stories". I came for James, but left with Toey and Ryu too. Toey reminds me of Kim Go Eun
"Pan pan"! I knew I would see Pangina Heals sooner or later, but it still surprised me, made me "happy clap". πππ
Remember a time before AI when you plagiarised your "research" and added extra crap to try and hide it? Yeah... This felt like that, too many twists, too many storylines for a drama like this. (even cats had storylines) I liked the changes, but I wish they kept it simple.
Episode 2 got me asking myself if this was a "One Spring Night" remake, so I rushed here. (The comment section kinda gave me some clarity).
Anyway, One Spring Night is dear to me, so I'll finish this for sure. This may or may not be a remake, but the fact that it's a question most are asking means it's either inspired by One Spring Night or this is a shared hallucination.
Whoever made the decisions in this adaptation... S/he is good at their job. This is so good (so far), it has the essence of the original, but also feels like its own entity. πΈ I bet it wasn't the copyright guy... Or girl.
I walked past the posters for months and didn't even realise it was "My Happy Marriage", I have my myanimelist to thank for stumbling across it. Anyway...
This is my favourite weirdly mixed genre anime/movie and... It should have been a series, not because I love it, but because I had to fill in the blanks because I know the story.
But man?! ... Meguro's acting has improved by leaps and bounds... I'm amazed. πΈπΈπΈ
Seeing August as ML makes me happy. I've always hoped he would play a ML in a BL since Love Sick.
So... The OST for the original was "Hero" by Family of the year, August's character here is named Hero, maybe it's not that deep or there are no dots to connect, BUT I'M CONNECTINGπ
It's Jan 2024, decided to rewatch this and I cried...my 2nd BLdrama ever, so much has changed since then, including my continent...now on to Sotus S and then my 1st.
I was entertained!!ππ Takumi really embodies his characters everytime, I trust him with live-action adaptations.πΈπΈ Honestly, everyone did a great job. The fight scenes!! whoever did the choreography for the fights deserves an award. π€Ίπ€ΌββοΈ
Edit: Toguro is played by Ayano?!? Totally missed it.
Leo was amazing, and his chemistry with Bai Lu was amazing to watch too.
Ep 10 makes up for a lot of things.
I liked Bruce's character. πΈ

Okay then...
None of the couples looked uncomfortable with each other which I liked. πΈ

FYI: This is an OSN remake...
