in the novel itself, there isnt much romance, since the plot was focused on the curse or the way khem, chan and jet were living at pharan's house. the thing is a lot of viewers are expecting alot of romance in a serie where the main focus isnt about the romance part. even the slow burn people were complaining. that 1% romance as you said is more than enough in the serie. it doesnt mean for a serie to be labeled as 'bl' it has to have all that romantic thing you mentioned.

its still y serie, cause the characters are in love. i feel like people want 80% gay romance to label the serie as 'bl'. like you mentioned in your first paragraph, they cant just directly go do all the romantic thing the op mentioned after 2-3 epsiodes.

this is why i stopped watching serie from gmmtv. i prefer smaller production where they can make decent serie.

i dont know about you, but namping did well in the role of khem. the khem in the novel was very shy and not so expressing. namping did well with khem adding the layers in his personality. so i dont know how you arent able to see namping as khem or even see the chemistry between them.

i just wished they show the wedding. i wanted to see that traditional thai wedding.

about the ' things he cant do as a shaman' i think its because he isnt married, after marriage its different. and yes he did recover his abilities i dont think he stopped being a shaman

the dog was most expensive cast they had, they couldnt afford him for the rest of the episode. loll .jk but yeah i forgot about the dog ;(

wow, im gonna miss this serie. my saturday wont be the same, i enjoyed the serie and the the culture of the northeast thai. but seeing khem, peem and the twins being a family, it was soo heart warming

i didnt put too much expectations on this and watched it cause i heard it was funny.. i have no regret watching it, it was so funny.. the couple is good. Park is such a cutiee,, now i have to wait next episode ;((

yeah, same part are feel unclear, from what i remember they were in a rush in the novel. in today's episode they seem to be relax with the timing. maybe he felt that he was 'safe' to be outside of the ring, cause he seemed to not expect those spirit to appear since he cleared the area? cause he kept the dagger inside

yeah the sudden in love part is unclear. i guess they didnt want to focus too much on the romance which will take away the main part of the curse issue etc . but for khem im unsure where he got feeling for pharan.. overall they did well, with the main plot.

khemjira is the only dmd serie i enjoyed. others lack with plot/script and they survived on nc scene like the next prince etc.
